the addon linked works well for that, you just need to change your skin to a combine and it will work

I swear there's already an addon on the workshop for something like this, but I can't find any. In any case, Enhanced Sandbox NPCs lets you make NPCs friendly to the player that spawned them, so while you probably won't be able to do any complicated faction stuff like making rebels attack other players, you could at least have "personal combine soldiers" attacking other players or something:

Hey I have an addon request. Me and my large group of friends are looking for a working addon that have you choose your faction/relationships with NPCs. INPC is buggy with addons like these. Maybe that is something that you are interested in?

Enhanced Sandbox NPCs can give soldiers tactical variants automatically, which would override the soldiers in this addon, but if that option is set to 0, it won't change any soldiers' existing tactical variants.

It allows you to spawn soldiers that are more aggressive. They have their own section in the NPCs tab and do not affect any other soldiers.

Well, if you're spawning the right number of NPCs under the right category and giving them enough time, I'm not sure what your issue could possibly be. I've never seen this before. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

All the maps i've been on had NPC nodes, Anyways heres the list: Gm_construct, Various NPC battle maps, And also Gm_amsterville.

If the soldiers won't move at all, the map you're playing on may not have the navigation stuff NPCs need.

Try this on gm_construct if you don't know which maps have it.

No. They actually already do that. Trust me.

If you're talking about crouchwalking, try Combine Units Plus . Or play the generator plaza battle in Half-Life 2.

All/most human NPCs can already open human-sized doors.

You don't seem to understand. I'm saying that the Improved Combine NPCs replaced the default NPCs 2 years ago. This mod and Improved Combine NPCs were basically already combined in the first place.

It's been merged with the main Garry's Mod code for almost 2 years, which means it's already part of the game. You don't need the addon.

And interesting concept. It's an entry in the spawn list though? If it works via editing the AI settings for spawned NPCs, it'd be interesting if there was a way to shift this function to a utility/option section instead, alloing all combine-derived NPCs to be spawned with this setting available to them.

Unsure how such a thing would work though.
