cant get it to work transmitters doesent find other transmitters

hi everytime i switch the power converter on it switch automatically on off by itselft i know what am i missing i have tried everything (putting it near the power remote receiver, put it in another grid with another receiver, put it one in the receiver grid and another in the sender ecc ecc ). Any help will be appreciated

Not Sure what these other buys are talking about. I just tested this mod and its working as intended. The description tells you to use this naming scheme but in the control panel there are toggles and fields where you can enter the desired values to setup the transmitters up.

Is it actually not working or is it just not updated to the latest version and throwing warnings because of that? I know that's a common issue with mods for games that are updated quite regularly.

I got the radial version to work fine.
The optical version seems to work for a moment, then stops.

Not working properly, and quite complex to set up. Remote Receiver not working.
Oh, and your grids also need separate power sources, as you can't just send power without at least a single battery.

having issues where im trying to connect one optical transmitter to multiple receivers only to have to keep quick saving and reloading to see if they even work just to find out that they dont want to connect at the same time and show 0 connections even though its sending power please fix as its a good mod idea and the only other is power-lines which are fiddly to use as its not very good with multiple point defence towers

I'm definitely going to watch this mod to it's fruition, Being able to recharge batteries on rovers, ships and drones without having to run conveyors andconnectors to each one will be heaven. ust build a multi-story parking building with 'powered' park slots for each vehicle. Old Tesla would be so happy to see his ideas working (well, playing games about working but...) Great work mate.

OK, Got this sorted!
Turns out I just needed to save my game, and reload to get everything to play nicely.

FYI, Turret style aiming is not required, they work like Laser Antennas.
One Receiver can receive from multiple Senders.
You can have both senders and receivers on the same grid.
If you set up everything and get "Status: Connected and Visible" but no power coming through, just save and reload your game.

Make sure you own both stations Hampson. I've noticed I get issues with ownership on them. Sometimes you have to just rebuild both sides due to connection issues. it's tough because the bugs are always random.

Will this let me use a set of optical transmitters for sending power from my station to my base, and then another set to send power back to the station to effectively share the power grids of both? Looking to supplement my base's power with solar arrays but those arrays will potentially need to call on the base for powering shields.

This mod does still work. As Abdul099 pointed out the receivers don't appear to update their text, but if you have configured it correctly the Remote Power Converter will show power coming in.
Simple instructions: Add a power transmitter to both grids, plus add a remote power converter to the receiving grid. Configure the transmitters by adding text in {} to the name, the power converters don't need configuring. E.g.
Radial sending Transmitter add: (C:1,P:50,M:S)
Radial receiving Transmitter add: (C:1)
Optical sending Transmitter add: (T:1,P:50,M:S)
Optical receiving Transmitter add: (I:1)
Toggle them off/on after changing the values.

Ok, I was going to write saying this mod seems broken, but I think I finally figured out the issue.
It seems you NEED to have a Power Converter on the receiving grid.
I threw one of those down and it started working, although the transmitter on the receiving grid says it is getting 0 from the sender, the converter is registering the received energy.
So my mobile solar array using Isys gyroscope sun tracking seems to be functioning now.
Side note, even though this page, and the notes on the block config screen still say to do it, I found it to be functional without adding tags to the name, just fill out the form in the control panel.

Does this mod still work? I setup a solar panel array that is producing well over 50MW of power (using this mod, which already has these in place https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=651004624&searchtext=Solar+Panels) and then put a receiver on my base along with a remote power converter. I have the tags in the names correct (sender = (T:2, P:10, M:S) and receiver = (I:2) and the sender says the following:
(M)ode: Sender
(T)arget ID: 2
Status: Connected and Visible
(P)ower sent: 50.00MW / 50.00MW

But on the receiver, I get:
(M)ode: Receiver
(I)D: 2

Power Receiving: 0.00MW / 50.00MW
Number of Sources: 0

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I will note, I have this running on my hosted server, so maybe that is the issue? Any help you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated.

been messing with this for about an hour and I cannot get the any of them to connect as a receiver. When its in send mode it tells me 1 receiver available yet when I go over to the other one it says 0 source available. All of them are set to channel 1 and I've tried it with and without the stuff in the name. Just going to assume its broken and delete it

Loving this mod for my drones. Getting away with minimal batteries and no cockpit or seat, can still run them perfectly.
But I noticed that radial transmitters will frequently temporarily turn off? I've had to use batteries to avoid the brown outs, as it'll power for a second, then turn off for a split second, repeated

@deadpoop best I can tell none of the tags are required, enter your channel and power in the block terminal and you're done.
