i get near the top of my team often if not outright top, sniper is much better with bipod, this isnt cod with quickscoping.

animations are broken and on top of that look like shit. the bipod is annoying as hell, everytime you ADS it picks up the bipod

@Prelude, they allowed movement with bipod deployed in a recent patch I believe.

the bipod is still fucked as Dante said, using this and the bipod is impossible. unsubbed as its not been fixed in over 6 months.

Viper, the devs did a bipod update awhile back so that you could move with the bipod deployed, and as a result it caused this glitch with all the skins made before the patch. This skin hasn't been updated in a long time, so the author probably won't fix the skin, but you could always play without the bipod. Hope this helps.

Hi, there seems to be an issue with the bipod mechanics. For some reason, it automatically deploys/undeploys (is that even a word) when I'm aiming down sights by a ledge. Also, the reload animation doesn't happen when the bipod is deployed.

@swei_la98 Hey. I know how to fix the issue you are having with floating suppressor. If you change the barrel length of a gun, the suppressor goes where the barrel should be. So you just gotta make the barrel normal length :)

@Jihad-Teppo No the Gol Magnum, and the M40a5 are also mag feed, but you can still just use the m40a1 animation.

@SuicidalKittens arent you gonna have problems with the fact that the l96 is a magazine fed rifle and m40a1 is "bolt fed"?

I've given up on it, atleast for now. Too difficult for me. I'm going to start watching tutorials on how to properly use Blender and maybe i'll try again.

You may have to replace the default ironsights too once you're done with the main body.

Yea reposition them to their original positions and make sure they are all under one mesh, with multiple components in that mesh. I use 3ds max so im not really familiar with blender. You can watch tigg's blender tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkwiS8t8odc

It was quite tough getting this one to work. The way the bolt was modelled made it hard because the GOL had 3 separate parts in the bolt and some parts were stationary even when I assigned them to move, but I managed to fix it with the help of Spycer42. I can see why the devs say the L96 is impossible, mainly because it has a massive square block at the end of the bolt which does not rotate when the bolt is unlocked. http://i.imgur.com/69vBmn8.jpg

You will have to animate that part separately by making it stationary when the hand unlocks the bolt, and only allowing it to move horizontally and not rotate. Other than that, the rest of the rifle should be ok. I also suggest you download the model from BF4 instead, link below.

I'm trying to make a L96 skin for M40 and when I asked on the Insurgency forums if anyone could make one, one of the devs replied saying it was impossible. Did you run into any trouble because I'm going to use the model from BF3. Thanks!

The M95 is a bullpup style sniper which would require totally new animations.

Yes this replaces any skin mod for the security sniper, including Sakura's beautiful M40a5 which was my fav skin for a long time.
