Zakerias  [auteur] 27 sep 2015 om 1:24
@wabniky, that looks like an error with a mod. I don't think it has to do with the map itself
B_Ridez 26 sep 2015 om 23:41
I get this error when loading into the map and then the roads ghost out when zoomed out

Wow. Instantly subscribed. This map looks PERFECT for what I want to achieve. I literally spent months looking for a temperate map with all connections, a good chunk of an island or two with nothing terribly scattered or dispersed. The beach on the side is a great bonus too. I especially love the spread of trees. There are plenty of other nice maps on the workshop but the ones I want don't have sea connection. This one fits the bill. Love it. Looking forward to getting started on it tonight.

Amazing tis map is best!
sockknitter 9 mei 2015 om 12:27
I absolutely love this map!! It's flat, hugh and with all resources. I believe this map will hold 1 mil population and that's exactly what I was trying to accomplish until the garbage system totally broke down. My city went as far as 320k pop and I had to give it up. I checked your other maps but it's not as hugh as this one.
Lucasje19 25 apr 2015 om 4:09
This map is great, exactly what is was looking for! The starting intersection looks awesome too, could you upload that asset independently?
Zakerias  [auteur] 19 apr 2015 om 12:02
@lionhart, I've used the same mod and I had no problems loading the map. Maybe it's another mod?
Sam Hamdivider 19 apr 2015 om 11:24
I have a mod that lets you buy 25 regoins, would this cause the map to not load? When I try and play this map it never loads. It just sits on a black screen with the circle thing going round and round.

I love this map! Its perect for a rural design with small villages and towns and agriculture. Well done and thanks for this map!

@fifo, there are no dike spots, because the dikes are already in place on the map. If you look at the fourth picture above, you can see that the land is slightly raised between the polder and the sea. This is the dike. For now, there is no way to manually build dikes. The concrete power dams in the game aren't really the same thing as dikes in the Netherlands. Dikes are made of soil and basalt, it's sole purpose is to prevent the land from flooding.
Freq 16 apr 2015 om 1:45
@zakerias I meant dikes. Sorry if my english sounds a bit incomprehensible, Im not a native Englishman. I cant seem to find any dike spots.
Zakerias  [auteur] 15 apr 2015 om 14:03
@fifo, i'm not sure what you mean. Along all water there are dikes, the height is very subtle though. If your mean a power dam, there isn't a real location because there aren't any power dams in the Netherlands. Our country is just too flat.
Freq 15 apr 2015 om 11:31
Could anyone tell me a dam/dike spot on this map ? Cant find any except the little sandy cove/valley where the canals begin

Dutches map i've ever seen. Mission accomplished sir.
cecasander 14 apr 2015 om 14:32
As a (fellow) Dutchie I can attest that this map is spot on! It looks very realistic and the level of detail is amazing. What I like most about is that you were able to incorporate all these characteristic Dutch landscape elements in such a way that despite its inherent flatness, it is never boring and there are plenty of ways of playing with (and adjusting to) the terrain, something I personally enjoy very much.
Zakerias  [auteur] 13 apr 2015 om 13:24
I want to thank everyone for their kind comments! I'm glad you're all enjoying it!
Also, @edmundbenz there is a link to an old Dutch windmill made by Bonzodoggie at the bottom of the description.
sheiky 13 apr 2015 om 12:21
I love this map. I think it's my new favorite.

Outstanding map! Congrats!!
trixsterdo 11 apr 2015 om 21:13
This is one of the best maps I have found in the workshop. The attention to detail is excellent and it is very obvious that time has been spent on ensuring the small finishing touches eg the tree lines are neat. Very well done I think
Simon 11 apr 2015 om 19:01
I love it. Very realistic and pretty map. Wish there was more like this on the Workshop.
Deichsturm 11 apr 2015 om 6:05

Amazing map - definitely going to be one of my top favourites!

Nice work. Looks very Dutch indeed. Drebbel for the win!
