I would guess this mod and the dynastic legacies are not compatible with AGOT right?
idm  [author] 12 Nov @ 7:45am
@A Random Potato I'm going to poke around and see if I can find what's causing this.
idm  [author] 12 Nov @ 7:24am
@Dnasis I'll make sure to fix this in the next update. Thanks for letting me know.
Fabulous Bile 10 Nov @ 2:54am
Disregard my issue, I realised I've misread that you need to already have the perk for it to work. My apologies!
Dnasis 9 Nov @ 3:15pm
Note that the Wanderer's Perk doesn't inherit if you abdicate (usually because of an Eastern religion or government)
A Random Potato 6 Nov @ 7:10am
Similar issue as @Iceciro, not getting the multiple schemes for some reason, even while only using this mod.
Fabulous Bile 6 Nov @ 3:59am
Just tried unlocking the pillager trait in the Martial perks, though did not get the trait. Tried resubbing to confirm it wasnt a steamside issue and still the same problem.
idm  [author] 5 Nov @ 3:38pm
@Anchovy This has been fixed. Steam sometimes fails to push updates. Try subscribing to the mod again.

@Iceciro This works fine on my end. Example [i.ibb.co]

@mielo Do you mean that you have 27 unspent Stewardship perk points with nowhere to spend them?

@MR.REVIVAL That's great. Nice work.
Anchovy 4 Nov @ 6:19pm
It needs an update and for some odd reason. This mod completely breaks gold income collecting.
Iceciro 4 Nov @ 5:52pm
So I'm seeing some weirdness with like - I have the perk From Over Here, which should give me an extra scheme of both types while traveling, and also Debauchery, which should give me an additional Seduce scheme. This would make me think I could have 3 seduce schemes while traveling, or at least 2 seduce schemes and another Personal scheme - but this doesn't appear to be the case?
GG棒 3 Nov @ 11:33pm
@mielo You need a UI mod. I recommend searching for the keyword 'UI' in the workshop. There are many ways to solve this problem. In fact, most players who like to play with mods will install UI mods because many mods are compatible.
mielo 3 Nov @ 6:16am
just as a quick question: how can we deal with overflow perkpoints? I don't know what to do with 27 stewardship perks.
MR. REVIVAL 1 Nov @ 9:33pm
Hey! I've made a compatch for Sabotage and Subterfuge for this mod. Just wanted to give you a heads-up, since I've always loved your approach.
Dalden246 1 Nov @ 5:11am
@Nomad I had the same bug, unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod fixed it for me.
Nomad 1 Nov @ 1:36am
Update seems to have a bug with income; shows gold income as what looks like a debug string "CURRE ..." and mousing over shows a blank detail screen with "No values" and "Total: ". Bug vanishes when Veritas is disabled and gold income shows normally again. Tested as a new custom adventurer; persisted over time through gold updates.

Updated for 1.18. See the change notes tab for more details.
idm  [author] 31 Oct @ 10:49am
@Ardúnadan Definitely some fun ideas here. I'll keep them in mind for a future update.
idm  [author] 31 Oct @ 10:41am
Working on it.
felixsv 29 Oct @ 11:43pm
Looking forward to this being ready for 1.18 - it's such a great mod!
Ardúnadan 29 Oct @ 10:59am
I have a couple of ideas based on a few other small mods. My idea would be to sprinkle these in to existing perks as you see fit.1) chance to become a blademaster by winning duels, 2) chance to duel opponents when leading armies, 3) unlock maiming, blinding, disfigurement, etc... of prisoners, 4) unlock a method of removing negative stress / fame traits.
Cyberspud 29 Oct @ 4:16am
The hud.gui fix you have doesn't seem to be compatible anymore. It's returning an 'undefined' value for monthly gold change.
복실복실이 26 Oct @ 3:01am
Exp from building is really really horrible idea. You should quickly change it.
idm  [author] 24 Oct @ 9:10am
@Ardúnadan More or less. I'm going to split Memento Mori into several separate mods so that people can pick and choose which features they want.

@irlVector Hey. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the mod.

I'm a little hesitant to add such a perk as that would make any existing perks that grant skill increases less desirable to unlock. However, I've been experimenting with a new interface feature that lets you convert perk points between Lifestyles. I'm not sure when it will be ready to be released, but it's something I've been working on.

@Cobr4a^ I only ever use Better Barbershop by agami. What you're seeing is just a lot of time (too much time) spent finding the right scene, lighting and character preset.
irlVector 23 Oct @ 10:38am
Hello, great mod!! I use it all the time lately, however I would like it if you considered designing a node for each lifestyle that you can take repeatedly if you have excess skill points in a lifestyle but don't want to take any new passives. I've found myself many times having leftover skill points in learning, for example, that I don't really have any use for so they just stay there as 1 on the GUI and my OCD is driving me crazy whenever I look at it hehe
Cobr4a^ 19 Oct @ 10:31am
Which mod do you use for portrait of this MOD ? She looks beautiful....
idm  [author] 5 Oct @ 8:46am
Veritas and Hiraeth are fully compatible. They do not conflict with each other in any way. And yes, I created Hiraeth and Taberna. I'm currently working on an updated version of the latter.
zkahnman 4 Oct @ 6:37pm
idm, I saw a page back that Hiraeth isnt compatible with Veritas? (and that you are the author of Hiraeth??). That would be sad as I think of Hiraeth as a core mod for me along with witchcraft :(

Out of curiosty did you make Taberna as well?
zkahnman 4 Oct @ 6:31pm
omg @Proxima-b; now I can use Veritas, ILY
idm  [author] 4 Oct @ 5:40pm
Paradox never implemented anything like AI weights for Lifestyle Perks. At least they were never exposed for modders to use. Also good work creating a patch. I'm sure many will appreciate it.
Proxima-b 30 Sep @ 9:24pm
How does AI pick those trait?
I don't see an AI weight system in the file.
Proxima-b 30 Sep @ 9:21pm
I made a compatch between witchcraft and veritas https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3577848910
Proxima-b 30 Sep @ 12:46pm
When using mod that add new lifestyles, such as witchcraft, some lifestyle buttons are unclickable.
Putting Veritas above witchcraft would fix the UI problem, but all Varitas perk will lose their effects.
idm  [author] 29 Sep @ 8:33pm
Veritas has now been updated for game version 1.17. As previously mentioned, this update also comes with a major content update, adding over 60 new perks to the mod. Extensive balance and gameplay changes have also been made to existing perks, with the Wandering Lifestyle seeing the most changes. I've also given the Adventurer side of the mod another design pass, and they now also have several new and unique perks to choose from.

Leave a comment if you have any thoughts or if you find any issues. Have fun people.
idm  [author] 15 Sep @ 8:57am
Hey everybody. I've been working on a major content update for Veritas for the past few months that I plan to release alongside the 1.17 update. This means that the update for 1.17 will be slightly delayed as I'm still finishing up some of the new content. The current version of the mod should still work fine in the meantime.
idm  [author] 2 Aug @ 2:49pm
No, but it is highly recommended. Several perks have additional effects if both are used at the same time. There is also a perk in the Stewardship Lifestyle that only makes sense with Quando Sumus installed.
Muse 2 Aug @ 1:27pm
Does this ACTUALLY require the decisions mod?
idm  [author] 31 Jul @ 11:23am
@Rafael I'm not sure. Try moving Veritas to the end of your playset. It could be due to a compatibility conflict.

@raven This will be fixed in the next update.
Rafael 19 Jul @ 8:56pm
Mod is great but unfortunately I often find perk points missing when I inherit wih new ruler. I.e. game is showing 3 pers available but I only can spend 2 points.
cindercatz 18 Jul @ 2:02pm
Sounds great. ) Looking forward to it.
raven 18 Jul @ 9:17am
When using a mod that adds new commander traits, the 'Strategos' perk in the Martial tree cannot be 'bought' because of the tooltip covering the screen. Btw, im loving this mod! Way better than vanilla.
idm  [author] 17 Jul @ 3:59pm
@cindercatz Thanks for the kind words. I may look into creating such patches in the future. I know people have long wanted a patch for RICE and Hiraeth as well.

@Soyut I'm not sure. Give it a try.

@finallyciv I saw your Quando Sumus comment as well. Nice work.
cindercatz 14 Jul @ 7:04am
@idm
Love this mod. On the GUI issue, I've run Veritas and More Lifestyles together with the mod Scrollable Lifestyle Window, and it solves the issue for me. Load SLW later in the load order. ML is still in the vanilla tree style, but they work fine together. (I haven't played 1.16 with them yet though, just about to.) I would love to see a patch for them that converts ML to the Veritas style and maybe balanced them for it, if you find that interesting enough. Goes for all the other lifestyle mods, really. This mod's gold imo.
Soyut 14 Jul @ 7:03am
I want to use it with A Game of Thrones. Is it enough for me to just add this mod at the end? Does the AGOT mod add extra perks? Is there a need for a compability patch?
finallyciv 8 Jul @ 10:49am
I have translated your mod into German: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3520349531
织田信长 8 Jun @ 2:17am
@idm
If I load your mod higher up in the load order, all the perk names and descriptions disappear, becoming blank.
Additionally, with your other mod, Hiraeth - Dynasty Legacies Overhaul, when it’s placed higher in the load order, the interface gets messed up.
I really appreciate your creativity and ideas, but the current compatibility issues make it hard for me to keep using them. I’m looking forward to your optimizations and improvements!
idm  [author] 6 Jun @ 10:35am
They all make changes to the same gui file. A compatibility patch would be needed.

However, a temporary solution is to move both of those mods after Veritas in your playset. This should solve the issue you're having. Keep in mind that the interface changes made by Veritas will not carry through if you go this route.
织田信长 3 Jun @ 12:26pm
Hello, author! This mod is fantastic and very creative; I love it. However, I’d like to report an important issue.
Before trying this mod, I was using More Lifestyles and Witchcraft, which add three additional Lifestyles. After adding this mod, I noticed a problem: when trying to switch Lifestyle focus, the interface at the top only shows 8 options instead of the expected 9. Even more critically, the two options at the edges (the leftmost and rightmost) cannot be clicked—they’re disabled!
Could you please fix this issue, author? Otherwise, I won’t be able to continue using this mod.
bsj3210 3 Jun @ 7:00am
It's a really good mod! But it's such a shame that the Worldly Knowledge have disappeared from the adventure stewardship. I wish I could change one puck.
vukh 29 May @ 3:09pm
maybe a shuffle perks option at the start could be cool,:steamhappy: instead of creating a new game in case i dont like the starting distribution.
vukh 29 May @ 3:01pm
hi, i like your mod. i only have one complaint so far.
the random perks distibuted at the start is too wide. for example i started a game as william of normandy and he had 5 points in diplomacy ,2 in intrigue, 1 in stewardship, and none in martial, which is very contradicitng of his history and his age.
