thats why i like this mo.
but they do have different artillery, horse riders, underground/tunneler (forgot the name), better lasguns and some old heavy tanks.

i just like the idea of having a faction with more artillery and defencive game play. could be fun i think

They only got two light vehicles (Blitzen/Bruennhilde), one tank (Ragnarok) and two defensive structure (Götterdämmerung/Siegfried). Otherwise, they share the same roster as the Astra Militarum. Pretty low for a new faction.

With this mod you already have trench, barbed wire, hero and Krieg units (Grenadier/Quartermaster/Ingineer and heavy trooper).

Krieg folks have received tweaked mesh that will increase the performance (and sparing your GPU). I'm still working on the Lucian Pattern too.

I noticed one feature on my PC: if there are more than 2 krieg units on the screen, FPS drops from 75 to 45-40. 3 and less than 40. There is no such thing with Cadian models. I tested it many times.

If this mod only affect the basic squad, so yes. All my (Astra Militarum) mods are fully functionnal with it.

Try to use the debug mode (ctrl+d) and erase unit one after another (before passing turn) to find a culprit.

When the crash happened it was during the A.I turn but I can't point to any specific faction under the A.I control due to not encountering them at the time of the crash, the only information I can give in that regard would be that I suspected one of them was the Imperial Guard as Webway gates would be attacked by something shooting rockets at the gate, Sorry I can't provide more information.

Hey Devian, sorry to be a bother but something is causing an "access violation" crash and I don't even have any references to draw from as the suspect that I thought was causing it wasn't the result but if it helps when the crash occurred I was playing as the Eldar.

I don't think any of that fancy, complicated deploying like in DoW is actually needed.
Just a pair of soldiers pushing a cart along and ducking behind it.
Not too different from the guy holding the missile launcher over his shoulder.
As strange as this might sound, I am actually not too worried about limitations at this point.
One of these days someone will find a way to animate that.
Half a year ago any kind of custom models seemed impossible.

We're limited to what the game can offer. If i remember correctly DOW II Retribution, heavy weapons team just move around and set up weapon before shooting (like COH and other games). We can explain this in game by the low movement and the accuracy penalty after moving. I can add another penalty after moving if needed or reducing the damage dealt by units.

While there are smaller versions of the Stubber around, like the ones the Vraksians used, they also fired much smaller shells.
So the versions with the same firepower as the ones on the vehicles probably couldn't be used by humans without support and those that could would probably function more like an oversized version of the autoguns.

A 40mm AT-gun weighs about 800 Kilos, the bigger 57mm guns weigh about 1.2 tons.
Even if we are generous and assume they've managed to increase the fire rate and reduced the weight to about a 5th, the Autocannon is still a 200+ kilo gun.

In terms of stats I think these guys are fine.
On a paved surface two people could probably push this thing along two hexes a turn.

While I'm not disliking the idea, it's actually not how this works in 40K.
A Heavy Stubber on a vehicle and a Heavy Stubber the infantry is lugging around is the same.
This is also true for the Las- and Autocannon.

That's why the Fire Support Infantry in DoW and Armageddon use the wheeled version.
While some are meant to be carried by infantry like the grenade launcher and the Missile Tube, the Autocannon and Stubber are always described as too heavy for regular humans.
So the Heavy Weapon crews always look this way.
To put it into perspective a RL Heavy Machine Gun (14.5 or 15mm) weighs about 50 Kilos.
Another 20 or so kilos for 40 shots of ammo.

I plan to create some static weapon squad (similar to DoW), as for the heavy weapons already out for Krieg/Sons of Sek/Kasrkin, i reduce their mobility (only 2 move) to illustrate the weight of the weapons. To me, they're more light weapon that the picture you put.
But if you have paid attention to what the Kasr can offer as defense weapon, you can see i already create some heavy lascannon and autocannon :) who look like much more than your pic.

you can apply the same to the Sons of Sek.
So Try Again Bragg is once again the only non Astartes carryng and Autocannon in his arma.

Just a brief random idea for the Guys with the heavy stubber:
would it be possbile to retexture the "cable" that connects the weapon to the backpack from s simple black to soemthing that looks like an ammunition belt that feeds the gun?
