All right everyone, i'm in the process of getting all the FR HAR races as basic genes. Won't have xenotypes maybe a basic preset one with like 2 things and the headtype.

It's not dead, we want to continue this project and expand to new ones involving forgotten realms.

as for neronix he wont respond to comment. ive tried to, if anything we're more then willing to continue where he left off but he just wont respond

other then that we do want to continue, we were gonna release another mod and continue updating this one... but 1.4 came out of nowhere

Its not dead alien race framework isn't ready yet so this can't be updated yet.

I forgot to add that this mod also causes crashes, and all of these problems are 1.4 exclusive. I'd stick to 1.3, but Medieval Overhaul is broken for 1.3.

Commenting here because Neronix disables comments, which is kinda understandable. Anyways, both mods cause no factions to spawn, and aside from initial glitches, I don't know what would happen if I added this mid-game. Neronix said a while back that he was maintaining the main mod, but he seems to have disappeared. Has anyone thought to revive this mod series? I'd learn modding myself specifically to fix this among other mods, but I have a really bad computer, and I can't afford another one.

It means you needy actually check your mod settings on framework expanded, namely the render cache.

I keep coming back to this mod wishing I could use it and forgetting the reason why I don't, then I read how its incompatible with vanilla expanded framework. Anyone know a work around to make them play nice?

getting a '
Exception drawing Roga: System.ArgumentException: RenderTextureDesc width must be greater than zero." error on a pawn. They look like a blue elf, not sure what race that is. pawn portrait is visible but the physical pawn in the world is not.

That error is me not knowing if borderscale or atlas scale was needed to stop pawns that are larger such as gnolls glitching out of the border/atlas. I chose both and only needed one.

Thanks for the update on the leather but what about the Exception parsing <borderScale>(2)</borderScale> to type System.Single: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. error

@Morghotias @Annabellee @Sugarstar Right you three these errors are the leather ones correct? Simple fix for me.

@Sugarstar whitespace error is easy as well shit slips through the cracks, all it means is on the XML description i left a space at the end.

There seems to be some errors with this mod.

This comes up for every race:

Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named Leather_MongrelFolk found to give to Verse.RaceProperties Verse.RaceProperties

And also for the Aasimar:

Mostly of my elves are invisible, seen it in dark elves and high elves. Sun elves (was a mimic tough) had skin.

Gotta love when Steam gives their users notifications for everything except actual responses/what's relevant.

After going through my mods here and there, I think I found the issue. It's Dub's Apparel Tweaks' Alternate Hair Draw Mode [i.imgur.com] option which seems to be enabled by default. Disabling it returned the hair back to normal on your affected races.

Not sure what it does, but it doesn't seem important for me to leave enabled. This is the list of mods [i.imgur.com] I used for testing—mainly hair and the problematic mod.

@Fi to narrow it down turning off all your mods only adding this can help, because if its caused by us then its our problem, if its caused by another mod then it requires a bit more digging.

I'm having a weird albeit minor issue with some of the races from this mod. For some reason, all of the elves (excluding the S-Kai), the Slimic Hybrid, and the Water Genasi have this distortion on the top of their heads [imgur.com] whenever they have hair.

It persists on top of any headgear they're wearing and goes away when I make them bald, and the other races not listed—including the races I added from other mods—are unaffected. What would cause this?

We have plans for them but not in this mod, we are planning to do as many races as possible from the whole DND franchise
