I really love this mod but I couldn't get it to work. I couldn't find any of the other civilizations anywhere even after I loaded the mod. Please help :) thank you in advance

Can I just say I absolutely love the mughals design? Being able to have great people develop separately when other civs can't is so fun and strong! For instance, I'll often spam great tile improvements in my capital and feed it with food trade routes. It becomes absolutely godlike when you hit freedom!

The lancer is actually really fun to play with-; For instance, in a city with brandenburg, you can start with shock 1, shock 2, medic 1, medic 2, mobility, and scout for support units; For attack units you can get shock 1, shock 2, shock 3, blitz, charge, and formation 2. For tanks; drill 1, drill 2, cover 1, cover 2, medic 1, medic 2. It is just absolutely insanely fun to play with.

And the garden feels great- you can actually see the bonus GPP add up, and it means you don't have to reroll non-river starts.

This civ, and your modded Maria's portugal, are my two favorite mod civs.

Yes, it is limited to the units with "UNITCOMBAT_MELEE" as intented.
Dilemmachine 8 Mar, 2016 @ 10:55am
Is Sparta's UA limited to pre-gunpowder units? Didn't give me the upgrade when I started making musketmen
Teddyk  [author] 4 Nov, 2015 @ 10:29am
Thanks for feedback.
It used to work on free GP from Liberty Finisher/Tower, but I decided to nerf it. It is one of the most powerful (I would say the top two) civs I made, the amount of GP is practically tripled, which is a bit ridiculous. I probably try to balance quite a powerful Ability with less impactful unique unit and unique building. Though I noted that Garden boost, either Culture or no maintainence sounds alright.

Really enjoyed playing as the Mughals. The UA worked splendidly, although I did find a couple of instances where it bugged. It seems that selecting a free great person (through either finishing the Liberty policy tree or through bulding the Leaning Tower of Pisa wonder) caused the cost for all three specialist types to go up. I selected a great scientist both times, and both times it caused the cost for the next GE and GM to rise as well. Those were the only instances where it bugged though. I loved the UU. The UB was fairly good, but I think it needs a little bit of a buff. Being able to build it in additional cities was great, but for those cities that had freshwater access, it wasn't much of an upgrade over the generic garden. Sure it had an additional 8% GP generation, but that was it. I'd suggest either removing the maintenance cost or adding +1 culture or food to it. Overall though, I absolutely loved this civ.

:) I am usually trying to represent the whole civ (not only the leader's period). I have used the same name as Firaxis (city-state). Thanks anyway.

Hello, as a Vietnamese, thank you for bringing Vietnam into civilization 5 ^^
I'm trying your mod now. Just found a first city.
Historically, at the regime of Le Loi, Hanoi's name should be "Thang Long". The name Hanoi had just came to existence in 18~19 the century. While Le Loi's era is about 13th century. ;)

Gonna give more comments. xD
Fox40rch 25 Aug, 2015 @ 12:58am
Question: Are all these sets independent from the standard set-ups? Can I still choose like, Greece, Romans or Korea while this mod is activated?
Persitski 21 Aug, 2015 @ 6:49am
Could you make a Mod for Macedon too please
Fumb Duck 14 Apr, 2015 @ 5:48pm
anyone have unsteam link?
Teddyk  [author] 3 Mar, 2015 @ 4:03am
Well, you can delete Sparta and Mughals from mod folder (they all have separate folders and one common with art <- do not touch this one :D).
Unfortunately Watter Puppet Theatre is purely BNW stuff.
roberto tomás 2 Mar, 2015 @ 7:22pm
Wish the Vietnam one was available separately, and worked without BNW.. it looks fantastic
Johnny Boy 16 Nov, 2014 @ 1:08pm
Good job.
League of Attorneys 18 Oct, 2014 @ 4:32pm
This is madness!!

THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ghorsty 17 Oct, 2014 @ 12:49am
Good job!
Mojave Neon 16 Oct, 2014 @ 12:57am
I'm not usually a fan of civs that are entirely domination focused, but I must say that your Spartan civ was incredible. They are easily one of my favorite civs (both official and mod) to play as. Excellent work with them. I haven't even played as Vietnam or the Mughals yet, and I'm still upvoting this mod, because the Spartans were that good.
Fenragon 29 Sep, 2014 @ 2:56am
One of my (shallow-minded) favourite things about the mod is the colors that vietnam has. I really love them. I also love how Vietnam just fits it's abilities and building together so well.
Terakhan 24 Sep, 2014 @ 3:29am
The Great General replacement for Sparta is strong as heck. Bring him along on a siege, and he will negate all but the strongest city's attempt to rebuild, not to mention making counter attacking hazardous for all but ranged.
williamsun1990 23 Sep, 2014 @ 6:56pm
Great design about watter puppet theatre! It's so interesting and the UA, UU and UB are all defensive and easily to work in coordination.
Wrath of the Gods 20 Sep, 2014 @ 5:46am
THIS IS SPARTA
ghost3seis 21 Aug, 2014 @ 8:41am
Thanks brother.
Teddyk  [author] 21 Aug, 2014 @ 8:36am
Go to "...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\" open mod folder, open MODINFO file in notepad:
"<AffectsSavedGames>1</AffectsSavedGames>"
Set value to "0" and save.

I hope this will help. :)
ghost3seis 21 Aug, 2014 @ 5:22am
Teddy I am a huge fan of your mods, especially this one. There is only one problem. I have never been able to play them. After some troubleshooting I found that the reason is for some reason mods with the "affects saved games tag" wont work. Is there a way to remove this tag from your mods and others like it? I am so anxious to to use your civs.

Hey sorry for not getting back to you. Yeah, if you could send me the code I can see what I can do. I would appreciate it a ton. Thanks a million.
armystegui 19 Aug, 2014 @ 10:41am
hey brother i was wondering if in your next pack you could build the Basque Civilization from northern Spain?
DaMonkBoy 14 Aug, 2014 @ 8:27am
Ha ha I actually meant Michigan State University not the actual state of Michigan, but I didn't mean it as a bad thing I just thought it was cool you used thier sports logo lol
Teddyk  [author] 14 Aug, 2014 @ 12:42am
It is actually changed already, though it was just vector for me.
Don't except people to know logos of your states. :)
DaMonkBoy 13 Aug, 2014 @ 11:55pm
I like how you use the Michigan State logo
Teddyk  [author] 13 Aug, 2014 @ 12:53am
It would be actually quite easy, if you have know how to attach LUA file to mod then I may send you the code.
||||lIII||llIII||llll| 12 Aug, 2014 @ 6:42pm
I'm sure you get a ton of requests, but can you (or is it even possible) to take the Mughal UA of decoupling the Great People and apply it to all civilizations? I don't have much familiarity with the SDK so I don't know if it would be possible without manually modifying every single civilization to have that ability.
YourCrazyDolphin 9 Aug, 2014 @ 8:43pm
@kidvideo There is a greek civilization even though the cities of greece never united until they were attacked by persia and Spartans are awesome.
Dewmeister 6 Aug, 2014 @ 5:50pm
sparta athens mycanae thebes (greek thebes) were all city states
Teddyk  [author] 6 Aug, 2014 @ 2:09am
There is an option to download ALL sets: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=499014 .
You can also try deleting civ5ModsDatabase from Cache.
TTV | Shrimpyy9000 5 Aug, 2014 @ 5:54pm
For some reason this isn't showing up in my mods list. All of your other packs are. It's not showing up in the mod folder either, it's like steam refues to download it. Do you have a direct mirror anywhere?
Chungo 5 Aug, 2014 @ 9:52am
not a historian. but shouldn't Sparta be a city-state?
Dewmeister 3 Aug, 2014 @ 9:41pm
ummm vietnam seems a bit overpowered
Panzerfanlol 30 Jul, 2014 @ 12:01pm
ok, but is it possible for you to oneday make one just for Gk?
Teddyk  [author] 30 Jul, 2014 @ 4:37am
With only BNW, you have a high chance to play without any problems.
With only GK, well, most civs will be probably not work.
I recommend using both, because It is hard to say when I am using some stuff that requires GK.
Panzerfanlol 29 Jul, 2014 @ 11:42am
do you need both GaK and BnW or just one ? :D i wanner be on the vietnam one
DevilbringerXxX 23 Jul, 2014 @ 5:25pm
THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Teddyk  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 4:47pm
You can delete two other civs from mod folder.
Sarc 29 Jun, 2014 @ 4:16pm
I love the veitnamese one, could you make a seperate one in the future with just each civ seperatley?
Tutter10 15 Jun, 2014 @ 6:05am
Thanks
Teddyk  [author] 15 Jun, 2014 @ 5:44am
Main reason was fact that it was easier for me to make a leaderscreen (using Taj Mahal in background and fort builded under rule of Shah Jahan).
Tutter10 15 Jun, 2014 @ 5:02am
Really good Mods. Why did you choose Shah Jahan as the Mughal leader, instead of Akbar? Just wondering!
