A couple of you are reporting that they are having some kind of issue, we are sorry for that, but you need to be more specific about the type of error, otherwise we can't do anything about it.
(please do not report errors if you are using ovehaul mods, because our subs are tested for vanilla gameplay and we can't fix issue caused by mods that we are not using)

Hi guys, we sadly had to rule out doors at an early stage of creation, the sub have already 5 shuttles (2 piranha 1 drone and 2 catapult) and all the extra docking ports for the doors would have made it very unstable.

you should put doors that can be opened or closed in the launch tubes to prevent monsters getting in easily

This sub is a good idea but to much bug, the NPC are stuck in the corridor to fix some electronic device. the monsters goes in the tube a can't go out. it's so shame because the ideea is to great. i hope they gonna fix this soon :)

@Steel hi, it's a known issue introduced in the last barotrauma update, devs are aware and it will be fixed next relase, nothing we can do for now sadly

Hi, my friends and I just bought this sub for our campaign, but it is missing its shuttles and drone. Do you need to buy them from somewhere, or is this feature not working in campaigns yet?

@BasicPlayer If there is a piranha in the attacked tube, you should be able to flush the enemies out by launching it against them, we had a similar accident with a couple of tiger thresher once and we used this method.

@RobFurze Hi, we're sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our sub, in the specific case of a hammerhead in one of the tubes, just use the other pirnaha, exit the sub, get in the attacked tube, and from there the hammerhead its a "fish in a barrel" ;)
Here's some tips:
-The shuttles of this submarine are not just for show, they are an important part of its defensive system.
-Each piranha have a box of piericng rounds.
-Use the flack button of the main sub to weaken the enemies.
-If you're hunting the hammerhead you can deploy the piranhas in advance to intecept it before it even see the main sub.

@thelaithiosprodios Hi, sorry for the late replay, i'll repost the instruction for the catapult:
1 Get inside and *close* the hatch
2 Pilot: turn on the power and the sonar (check if there are any obstacles in front of the catapult)
3 Gunner: after the ok from the pilot use the lever on the left and then grab your turret controls
4 Gooooo! ;)

RobFurze thanks for telling your experience with this sub. I'm still considering if I should use this Submarine or not. Also have you tried using the Launch pad Shuttles to push out the hammer heads? Would be cool to see a Hammer head get flinged, I'm guessing those hammer heads did a lot of damage to the sub and so those shuttles were either totally destroyed or disabled

We've used this sub for two long sessions on our Multiplayer group, and we're having to step away from using it after getting multiple hammerheads stuck in the launch tubes on two separate occasions. After losing multiple people trying to either kill them or lure them out, it simply isn't worth the hassle the launch tubes provide compared to how small the benefit has been.

Legendary sub, guys. Everything's working for me... except the shuttle launchers. I know the updates like to do random stuff like resize ballast pumps and randomly teleport the ship's controls, but i'm not sure that's the case. What I see is that the shuttles instantly float to the roof of the hangar, and then the launcher fires, and then instantly re-docks. Really hope there's a solution to this. It's either a wire problem, the stopper being jammed inside the rail, or the shuttle going too high.

I am not very experienced with the game, but I think it would be really convenient if one of the shuttles had a forward-mounted gun.
Brilliant design though, both this and the Hammerhead, looking forward to more ships with unique features like that.

@AdeptOfMachine Hi, you need a "captain" to open those doors (captain's bridge).
The shuttles works fine, press the red button to turn on the power

There is something behaving unusually with the Levers. You have to uncheck "Is Toggle" box for them to work properly.

@Suportik Hi, thanks, we'll check for the lights, but we design ours submarines for a vanilla environment, it's impossible to ensure compatibility with all the mods on the workshop.

@Tayrtahn Hi, on one of our submarines the "R29-Hammerhead" Toasty made a drone that can transfer it's power to the piranha (dock and start the transfer via terminal)

Absolutely great submarine! Very well balanced! But please give each weapon it's own loader slot, so you can switch the guns for something else at station. Also remember try to keep the numbers within the limits if you want players playing your sub without lagging, sub is playeable with vanilla wrecks or beacon stations, but when it comes to modded wreck that has the same amounts of items and structure count, the game begins to fall apart no matter if your server is located in nasa,
Also i am stealing that flying drone with crates.

This is a very fun sub! Started using it in a new campaign with a group of 5 humans and one bot assistant. There's quite a bit of vulnerability on the left side of the sub, but that only makes the Piranhas more appealing to use. Very cool to hop out and defend the sub from the outside and avoid crossfire with the main gunners! The MULE is extremely cool too, and makes wreck salvage and mining operations quicker and easier.

We have encountered an issue with a Piranha running out of power and being unable to dock, even when we pushed it back into the launch tube. Might be nice to have some way to jumpstart them, but I'm not sure if that's really possible currently.

cabinets (especially med-bay) are brokes so the cabnets spawn disorganized and bots wont put stuff in them when told to put stuff away

@𐌼enace Hi, Blind spots are intentional (for balance reasons) use the flak before they reach you or send out a piranha to take care of them.

Sick sub, love the high number of drones because it adds a feeling of more stations and roles to play on the sub, my only complaints is that there's no extra hardpoint to upgrade on the sub and the top right gun can't aim far enough to the left to hit the corner, so there's a blind spot in the coverage that causes breaches from small monsters (IE crawlers, spinelings getting stuck) that otherwise be easily handled by a person manning the gun
