it uses a function that is already used elsewhere in the game. I do not know if the AI will actually use it. I don't even know if the AI ever uses Engineers to rush flood barriers or dams, which is a standard feature even without this mod.

I also would like to know this. I think the concept of this mod is sound, since historically engineers first existed and were precisely hired to build or destroy city walls, but I don't want to give myself any advantages that the AI couldn't use itself.

Still, thank you for creating and sharing your mod with us. I'm really a fan of quite a lot of them!

It was only patched in after GS launched, so maybe that's why you overlooked it.

accidentally made it require RF, too. I keep forgetting to make references to RF civs optional. Will fix immediately.

gameplay itself should be, the code is very simple. Not sure if the text description of the engineer might be an issue where one mod will override the other, if both make changes to it. This one does.
