Here's a handy tip: Sometimes you want goblin workers to fight, and it's really awesome that they do. Other times, you want your fighting team to handle it alone. What you can do is put all the workers into a squad and tell the squad to guard a location. Sure, they aren't working, but they also aren't at risk of being varanus food.

Could it be that the Swamp Biome doesn't work well together with Extra Map Options or the other way around?

E.g.: after map is Loaded long time before its possible to set Startpoint or after creating map new again the settings of the previous extra map options are active without yet touch Extra Map Options. . .mainly Map Size option .


Or is it just me because of other mods !

With the treatment, it turns out that he does not treat anyone. In the case of combat, the skill uses everything normally, except for treatment. He doesn't even heal himself.

Sorry everyone. I was (still am) kinda busy and missed the steam notifications.
Lets address the comments since last mod update:

* "After the recent Ace mod update, the goblin warrior has no bonus to courage and endurance."
Yes, it broke it. I have fixed this and will soon update the mod.

* "None of my eggs are hatching."
I could not get this bug. Do you have any other details I need to redo the test? I simple started a world, got one egg, protected it, and it grew into baby just fine.

* "You can only re-embark as swamp clan again. Otherwise you crash to desktop."
I tested this and didn't get a bug. Tested with and without ACE. A group of goblins reembarking into a group of hearthlings.

* "Curiously, I have a Spirit walker that uses all skills except healing"
This could be a small change in ACE. In it, magic healing only works for combat units, during fights. To heal other people, you need herbalist/shamans with healing potions.

You can only re-embark as swamp clan again. Otherwise you crash to desktop.

Yes, the market stall that is similar to other stalls from vanilla will not work with ace. I have not worked with the new merchant update yet. I will try to update that too soon

did the ACE update break merchants by any chance? i can't seem to get any traders other than the standard goblin merchants from the dedicated merchant stall.

I tested the build with the beds and it worked fine. Make sure it is not touching something and it is in flat terrain, those things usually block the builds from being accepted. If it is just a small piece that is red, try to add a ladder to it to help them reach that part, or in case it is an item just wait for it to be crafted.

With the spawn tool you can add a baby goblin to your play with any kingdom and *boom* you can have Goblins and Humans!

Sorry, I just saw your message now, I had a busy month with other projects.
Is that still an issue for you? Usually you can send them to reembark at any time (instead of waiting for the end of the campaign), using their "travel stall", crafted at the earthshaper.
Then those should appear in a new game when picking people from the reembark options.
If that is not how it is working with you, I will like more details, so I can fix it all on a next update

I had a broken computer for a whole month, sorry guys for being late here.

@spazzie2098 I am going to do some small revision to babies (like no hungry while sleeping), but on general they will still be hard to maintain (hopefully not from dumb a.i.). That is a way to counter how easy it would be to increase the population otherwise.

@MisterGencarrot™ you can mine it even sooner, it just that they will probably try to fight you back lol

@Rhyagelle That is the default vanilla way, a few items of a single type only. Ace has changed it for a few things i think, so there is why there is some inconsistencies

@Daemon Trooper That is an issue with whatever mod is adding those (not this one, not from vanilla or ace item either)

me thinks the hunger on baby goblins is too high because on average one in four goblins make it to adult hood because they go to sleep and then promptly starve to death (this is with me spawning them one at a time and watching just one baby goblin) I had plenty of food its just that baby goblins are dumber than even hearthling building ai also they tend to get stuck in chair and STARVE to death for no reason other than they are stuck (adding the ability to teleport them would fix this issue but i doubt that would be an easy thing to add)

Golems are craftable at geomancers. You should see 4 there, 3 vanilla and one for the goblins.
Make sure there was enough time for the game to download the update, the mod is big so it takes time. If you still got problems, send me the save file and i will search for bugs with it

updated, nothing shows no golem for what i can see. does it not work with reembark if the party was saved prior? Oo, or am i simply not looking hard enought?

humans only spawn when certain conditions are met and one of the ways i found to deal with humans i get a massive squad of normal goblins birthed (over the course of several days) and then have my shaman upgrade to a spirit walker which will spawn the humans then go on a massive attack to deal with them immediately

How does the beast tamer fight? Does it run up and start meleeing after it calls in the summons or does it just run in, call in the summons, then run away? I don't know how it fights so i don't know if I need it to have high body and spirit as well as mind so it doesnt just get one shot

minor complaint is that when my baby goblins go to bed they then STARVE TO DEATH IN THEIR SLEEP BECAUSE THE AI IS TO BRAIN DEAD TO TELL THEM TO GO EAT

Quick (and perhaps stupid) question, how do I make the "vanilla" geomancer golems like Crickets and Ox Golems? They require a bunch of items it seems the Goblins can't make and which never show up with the merchants. Do I need to reembark with a faction that has herbalists and weavers to be able to make them that way? Masons you can get through the rabbits (so making golem parts and picks are fine, but still can't make tonics or golem backpacks). Is this just something thats not conveniently available to the goblins as of now or am I missing something? I've been doing a bit of reading and googling but the only "answer" I've gotten so far was to just get the Auto Golem Guns mod.

@Bruno Hey i like playing with the hunter mod but for some reason i can no longer hunt large animals and due to the fact that the hunter class is not part of the goblin's class options i'm kinda stuck dealing with large birds relentlessly being in almost every building i own

i love it! i rly like the egg mechanics, It would be nice to be able to put something Goblin Slayer style and somehow be able to get ogres, that "evolutions" from goblins or a different egg ritual, that have a limited number also to balance

For the archipelago biome there is just a quick story, independent of kingdom used.
For the goblins you can do the end boss through the bunny quest.
There are more campaigns being made, for example orc encounters, but those are still wip and not public
