cant even play the game at all ,it crash right after i click play

used to be great sadly got abandoned terrible load times you now need cirtain mods to even remotely be able to play the game

this game was abandoned and you NEED mods. the ACE mod in particular. it is not optimized well at all and starts freezing up pretty quickly. sometimes it won't even start and i have to go thru stopping and starting it over and over until it does start. you can not watch youtube while trying to start this game...

that said, i enjoy this game a lot. i wish i could play it longer before it starts lagging and freezing. watching my hearthlings carve out the land and build things is very satisfying. i have seen some amazing city builds online and i am unsure how people did those without the game freezing, perhaps there's a secret i am unaware of. using console commands helps a bit if i want to carve out or build massive things very quickly, but it defeats the purpose for me - watching my little guys work.

gameply wise, i feel like things happen way too fast. trader after trader pours in, i accumulate items quickly, quests trigger/pop very fast in rapid fire - i wish i had more chill time between things happening to remember what i was doing.

i recommend this game if you don't mind any of the aforementioned things and just want to watch little guys live, build and dig.
