martin_raccoon 12 Mar, 2022 @ 3:25am
@Rabbit Have you tried instead of going "File -> Save as" you go "File -> Export"?
Rabbit 1 Feb, 2022 @ 8:38pm
dude I tired doing your video and I can't get it. Ii don't think the Photoshop's are the same version. Because my Photoshop does not have a save option for .PNG.

Hey Skibitth, I have been working on uploading a pack of PO textures to the workshop similar to your pack. However I have been having issues with other people not seeing the textures properly even though they have the correct .png files in the associated steam workshop folder, as well as the .cfg file which properly lists the textures. I would love it if we could get in contact, I'd really enjoy creating more packs in the future if I can figure this out! Thanks

@Skibitth.YT : Hi! This pack's name doesn't display in game. Please replace "Name" to "name" in .cfg file to fix it.

@Skibitth.YT -- Excellent! Thank you. (I'm a big fan.) :ap_reallyhappy:
Skibitth.YT  [author] 19 Nov, 2020 @ 12:37am
@lemonsterOG thanks for the heads up! I updated it now
LemonsterOG 18 Nov, 2020 @ 12:16pm
@Skibitth.YT -- First -- Great work! (as always)

Second -- Just an FYI -- There's an issue in your description.

I know you uploaded this in April 2018, but with the Sunset Harbor update in April 2020, the original Find It mod was broken and removed from the workshop. Find It 2 was created as its replacement.

It would be appreciated if you would update the description to reflect this.

Thanks so much,
~LemonsterOG :lemonade:

is it possible to make a transparent PO texture?
Skibitth.YT  [author] 5 Oct, 2020 @ 6:35am
@Dave89 nope. You need to have full decal 1024x1024. This isn't working as a decal itself...it just a texture you add. You cannot crop it
Dave89 4 Oct, 2020 @ 5:03am
@Skibitth.YT : Hey Mate, good work, thx. I have a question btw. When I make my own decals with PO and do follow your tutorial on YT the background of the decals stay black when the area of 1024 x 1024 is not filled completely. Is there a way to make it transparent, the background?? :)
FRGWorks 11 Mar, 2020 @ 5:31am
This is what I found - don't use the PO square, use the PO cube instead. The repeating tiles do not get distorted if you only stretch the X, Y, Z axes in a straight line, i.e. no angles or slopes, only stretching the axes horizontally or vertically along their directions.
FRGWorks 29 Feb, 2020 @ 1:55am
Thanks!
Skibitth.YT  [author] 29 Feb, 2020 @ 1:50am
@FRGWorks click on the tile you just plopped down, EDIT > GENERAL TOOL > ADVANCED EDITION TOOLS and then click on the TEXTURE UV MODE to be STRETCH and not repeat.
FRGWorks 28 Feb, 2020 @ 1:26pm
The PO square with texture is amazing! However, when I use tiled textures the texture (repeating tiles) always gets distorted when I stretch it, scale it, or even copy it. Is there a way to solve it?
Blue [ITA] 16 Feb, 2020 @ 4:28am
hello, when i try to lay a decal it disappears, i can see the commands, edit etc with PO mod but is invisible, what can i do? Thank you
gbuck70 8 Dec, 2019 @ 4:24am
That tutorial video was really good and helpful! I've been trying to make some PO flat squares to replace ploppable asphalt mod, and trying to get a good match for the game's built-in gravel texture. Has anyone done this before? Trying to fill in gaps in an elevated railroad where the tracks merge into the elevated station.

Thanks a lot dear Skibitth, I will try it next game time. :steamhappy:
Skibitth.YT  [author] 2 May, 2019 @ 8:59am
@ 476102576 ooh you need to change something. Go to Texture UV mode and change it from: REPEAT to STRETCH. Then no more issues. You have to do this for each decal you create, but not if you copy them. When you copy an existing one this setting will be kept. And also try not to rescale them.

@Skibitth.YT Dear Skibitth, as you could see from the following picture. There is a problem about the mod https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1729136658
Skibitth.YT  [author] 19 Apr, 2019 @ 9:00am
@ 476102576 can you show me a screenshot?
Hope True 19 Apr, 2019 @ 1:18am
Thanks for good work and sharing. There is a problem in the game that when I use my own source material as a tile decal, the down part of all the decals will be tilted, hope the help.....

@「 LiTe Em uP 」you used to be able to convert those ploppable asphalts into procedural objects and stretch them but for some reason procedural objects no longer supports that ability.
Envibe 7 Oct, 2018 @ 1:04pm
@Skibitth.YT Thank you for your reaction I will try to contact him!
Skibitth.YT  [author] 26 Sep, 2018 @ 6:54am
@Envibe Hmm...if you click on open folder and nothing happens...then is strange. I don't have a clue how things work on a MAC. The best thing you can do is to try to contact the creator of procedural objects mod which is Simon. Maybe he can help.
Envibe 25 Sep, 2018 @ 3:02pm
Thank you for your great work, however I can't manage to load the textures. I read all instructions and watched the tutorial video yet when clicking refresh won't load any textures. Clicking the 'open textures folder' unfortunately does nothing for me either. Could this be a folder/pathfinding issue as I play the game on a Mac?
「 LiTe Em uP 」 20 Jul, 2018 @ 11:31pm
any chance that this set gets asphalt and concretes as well??? it would likely certainly make ploppable asphalts obsolete to me if you get those 2 procedural versions as well lol
Skibitth.YT  [author] 25 Jun, 2018 @ 9:05am
Yeah, but still you can use the ploppable asphalt to cover the ramp. You can reshape it and also rotate it to the correct angle.
I cannot make something else to work for your ramps
KWetzel93 24 Jun, 2018 @ 8:31pm
Contuined from my other post:

This is where such a ceration from you would come on. You see, with the shapes we can create with procedural objects, I could create that then ramp and using the deafult pavement texture(witch you would create), have the ramp i need with the default asphalt pavement texture to match , resulting in the creation of that vechile ramp for that elevated parking lot. However, with such a texture creation, I could see MANY more way this would be useful as well. Maybe having small ramp going to lower plaza from a higher plaza, to make it look like it is handcap asseciable for another example. The possiblitys are endless really if you think about it.

Hopefully this explains my reasoning better for the texture request and hope to maybe see them soon=). Thanks for these ones tho. They will be very useful. Keep up the great work!
KWetzel93 24 Jun, 2018 @ 8:31pm
Hey Skibitth.YT,

Thanks for replying to my comment. I think tho maybe I may not have been clear enought about the reasoning of why I want them as a texture pack and not just as a decal that can be editied to make larger or smaller. Hopefully this clears that up. You see, I have a couple places in my city where having the default textures as a 3d object(not just a decal) would be very useful. One such instance is this elevated parking lot I have, witch with plopable asphalt has a asphalt surface and parking spaces on it. However, making it look like there is a actual way of getting up there(with a car) is not possible because there are no ramp shapes objects on the workshop that have a default pavement texture on them.

@hkcgalantfan001
Here: https://steamproxy.net/workshop/filedetails/?id=1258162457 is a link with some ploppable textures that are being cut out of the theme you are using. You put these down in the game also with the Procedural Object MOD. And I also highly advise you to plop down any type of decals you want to use with the procedural object mod because there will be no flickering if you intercalate them :)
KWetzel93 23 Jun, 2018 @ 7:34pm
Hey, Skibitth.YT,

Thank you for these textures. Can't believe someone had not done this yet, considering how useful that mod is. Anyways, thanks again. But since I am on this topic, would it be possible to create two more textures. Ones that i know would be very useful for sure. that is:

default game concrete texture
default game pavement texture.

now how easy that would be, I don't know. But maybe there is a way you can rip that texture out of a default game asset. Such as a road. Just my thought. anyways, thanks a ton and keep up the great work!.
