Description
This Is Custom Patch For The Rimano Collection!

While you can safely grab this patch collection and use it without any issues alongside your own mods, its intended use is for the Rimano collection that you should probably check out!

The amount of changes that have been done are far too numerous to list, as it handles patching and integrating content across 300+ mods in the collection. Don't like a specific patch, or want to disable them entirely? Check out the Patches folder where you can help yourself, or outright delete it if you're feeling feisty.

Should be loaded as low as possible in your mod load order. Can also be used without the Rimano collection (even mid-save) to patch various mods you might already be using.

Please see the in-game options menu for more information and to toggle the various patches.

I'm banned for life from the official "Rimworld" Discord chat room. To their credit, I totally deserved the first strike and brought the second on myself for screeching in the chat room instead of reporting bad behavior quietly like a sane person. The third was posting too many logs on the "post your error logs" section.

I deserved the ban, TBH.

@TurtleShroom: RimWorld taught me the basics, and the modding community the rest! It could be a perfect time to try it out and see how it goes! :rshout:

Sadly, I can't do any C-Sharp whatsoever. I have a full megabyte consisting almost exclusively of pure XML Patches, with two or three Textures (no more than five or six kilobytes) present.

@TurtleShroom: I mean, ideally it'd all be Harmony patches. They're lightweight and you can easily handle any situation and also allow the user to edit them, or toggle (enable/disable) the changes on the fly, like all of my Harmony patches do. If I had the time I'd have converted all my patches to Harmony ones, but eh...

My Mod also has no C-Sharp changes and had hundreds of Patches and changes.

I would say that my Patch is likely more ablative, as it actually removes some duplicates by replacing the Thing Def with Filth of the same key (to avoid any situations where total removal would cause eerrors).

@TurtleShroom: Definitely do release it then, or I'd be happy to share the mod page with you if you'd want to join forces and merge! If patches are done correctly they shouldn't cause any issues, aside from if they touch the same thing then you'd just get the last overwrite. There are just way too many mods and variations out there, being able to have a nice megapatch that can handle things regardless of your mod load order is just such a boon!

I've been ever expanding that mega Patch for YEARS. It gets bigger most every week.

@TurtleShroom: I say do it, let this be the sign you needed to get it done! I know what a mission it can be, I've done nothing but this for the past 4 months, and let me tell you the relief that it is finally released! :rshout: And sure, if you want to reach out I'd be happy to chat!

Great minds think alike. I have a custom collection of Patches that might be even bigger than this one. I've considered publishing it in the past, and this sort of inspires me to reconsider. Perhaps we could join forces?
