turn it off for your game, then.
there's a sandbox option for it.
don't fuck over the rest of the people who like it just because you don't.
The chest fracture time caused by the seatbelt is defined in sandbox settings. The mod adds it as a normal fracture, like any other fracture injuries, so it should behave normally and heal as it should. If it increases or goes to over 100, I can only assume that you have your settings set in a way that chest fractures are caused from very weak crashes, or there's some kind of another mod messing with how fractures work
Also, for peeps who suggested it, the chime is now played locally. That means you won't be hearing the chime of other players/vehicles.
This will solve several issues with multiplayer: The sounds keeps playing for other players even if it stops for the player who triggered it. It also seems to stay in the same location, so even after they drive off, the chime continues being emitted from where they were when it started.
I said there wasn't seatbelt LAWS, not that seatbelts didn't exist.
Seatbelt chimes were not so widespread by 1993, nor did every car chime indefinitely. MOST CARS made at the time did not have chimes.
Now that we've cleared up that I never said seatbelt laws didn't exist, what I actually said is that many places (SUCH AS KENTUCKY) did not have seatbelt laws until after 1993.
Kentucky SPECIFICALLY did not enact seatbelt enforcement until July 15, 1994.
@Arendameth, thank you for the quick reply. I didn't see it in sandbox at first, my mod may have just been out of date.
