Description

If you think the weapon selection in this game feels limited, this is the only mod you'll need! Adds 50+ weapons complete with hand-drawn art by me and stat values that match as closely as I could to their real-life counterparts (according to the CE stat sheet at least). Some may call this "bloat", I call this "more things that go boom", and who doesn't love that?

See a gun that makes you cringe? You can use Cherry Picker to remove it.

Potentially Asked Questions:

Q: Why can't I craft x weapon?
A: In order to cut down on taking up menu space, certain weapons which are simply cosmetic variants of the same gun or have extremely similar stats can only be found through trade or used by raiders. This also applies to civilian (semi-auto) variants of guns, weapons which simply would be extremely overpowered if they could be crafted for low cost, or weapons which aren't particularly useful in combat but could be fun to collect and spice up the typical raider loadout.

Q: Is CE really required?
A: Yeah, I did this to speed up development so I don't have to worry about two completely different combat systems, and because it also allows me to use the full extent of CE's added functionality without having to fiddle around with endless patches and whatnot. Plus, with vanilla's combat all the guns would be even more redundant than they are now. However, if you're fine with that you can get the vanilla version here, but expect the balance to be all over the place, speaking of which...

Q: Are the weapons in this mod, balanced...?
A: Heh...
Serious answer though, since I've decided I want to make the largest weapons collection in Rimworld, you will find many problems if what you seek is a polished, perfectly symmetrical weapons pack. Just like in real-life, some guns are just better than others, and some guns only exist because they look cool. There's nothing I can really do about that.

Q: Why did you decide to make this?
A: I only really made this mod so that pirate raids show up with more than just the same revolver every single time, and because for some reason every gun mod I've seen has that one gun that is super rare and exotic in real life with only like 0.5 of them made and in-game they show up in every raid. Plus, I've just noticed a strange lack of mods with guns that normal people actually use day-to-day. Instead, it's mostly military weapons and obscure prototypes, which I do love every once in a while, but I'm honestly just more interested in weapons I can legally own, which is why there's a larger emphasis on pistols and AR-15s here than any other workshop mod.

Q: May I make a suggestion?
A: Sure thing, but keep in mind that if you suggest a weapon that is from before 1950, made in the Soviet Union, and is currently in two pieces on someone's desk, there's a high probability that I'm not interested in it. I will still consider it, but just know that I prefer modern firearms in the western sphere of influence, and will prioritize those more. With that said, if you own a customized AR-15 (not just stock parts) and want to see it in-game, you can DM me on Discord with the specifics and I'll gladly draw it for the mod as a rare item, with your choice of remaining anonymous.

Combat Extended has just recently gotten its 1.5 update, this is just me letting you guys know that I'll be posting the 1.5 version of this mod soon. Maybe 2 weeks.

If you're in the CE Discord server, the testing version for my mod is in the community-showcase tab.

@TwentyFour24242 - Yes, there will be duplicates. I think only the Uzi and the Five-SeveN are in both, I plan to do something about that in another update.

hey quick question, if I have the CE armory installed with this mod will there be duplicated weapons? I.E. multiple types of FN 5.7?
