Description
Greenport, KY

Established in 1818, Greenport relied heavily on the fishing industry that the Ohio River provided for many years. The local Cannery, was opened shortly after in 1821 by the town's first Mayor, Harrison Harrington.

Over the decades, the town continued to grow and become more self sufficient, attracting in many different professionals and businesses.

By the late 1980's the interest of most residents of Greenport had moved on from fishing due to the growing prosperity of the town, resulting in the Cannery scaling back production. Seeing the changes in the town, the Mayor believed promoting the town's growing local business scene would help draw in the tourists and bolster the coffers of Greenport. His plans included renovating parts of the large Cannery into a Tourism center, granting local artisans vending liceses to operate out of the historic town square and the construction of a community swimming pool and open air gym adjacent to the square.

Amenities in Greenport include: multiple fishing piers, gas station and mechanic shop, doctor's office, hunting and camping store, K-12 school, daycare, church and cemetary, bank, post office, book store, coffee shop, sewing store, barber shop, grocery and tool store, police station, bar as well as a beach and Fish n' Chip restaurant.

Only did a quick no-zombie exploration of the area and it looks real nice. Very upper class, lots of small little details, gardens and the like. Couple of potential bases. Might have used a direct access to the main road running in the south? Currently only options are east / west access roads. Don't really understand the factory with the watch / jewelry place on top of it, near the docks.
The amount of harvest in the gardens is a balancing concern though. Lots of things you can harvest to powerlevel your farming skill early on.

Is there are generators or places where they can spawn in here? Usually I go for storage units or house garages and find one pretty fast, but this map seems to lack both, from what I can tell. Where am I suppose to look?

I love starting in this map, the hunting lodge and the police station harbor crap ton of ammo and weapons which make this city worth spawning just for the weapons. Not to mention the closeness to the river and the 2 great base locations at the very edges of the town.
Overall, 9/10. Good city layout with great loot and not too many zombies

There's still another bridge accessing Dirkerdam up by Riverside if you're fine with only having the one access point. Loading Greenport after Dirkerdam should allow for both to be active. Still have plans to release a secondary mod that will add compatibility for Dirkerdam though down the road :spiffo:

Aw man. Too bad it conflicts with Dirkerdam. I want to try both, so I guess I'll have to try this one later. Wish there was a patch for the two since it seems it is just the bridge having an issue.
