Lone Wanderer's Saving Grace

Description
This is a mod consists mainly of Tailoring, Carpentry, Medical, Welding and other handy survival recipes, which in my opinion should be in game. Would you like to make your own Matches? Carve your own Baseball Bats? Cast your own Glass Jars? Make your own Gun Slings, Recoil Pads, and Holsters? Stitch up some leather gloves and a Survivor Backpack? Or maybe brew some natural herbal medicine? Weld a contraption for old fashioned butter making?
Much like building a bridge, this mod offers the missing link inbetween original vanilla ingredients and important vanilla survival gears. I have tried to make sense of the materials used and the outcome, I have also added skill requirements for the majority of them so it is not too OP, but still challenging and fun:)

You will be able to add this mod to your existing save files or any new saves. Since it only uses vanilla items it should not create problems for you. However a backup of your save file is always recommended. Please let me know if you have any suggestions/ideas for more recipes to add with vanilla ingredients!

@slendergreen Thanks for the response back. I think having an alternate recipe would be cool or maybe just halving it because I think having branches be used in something meaningful is an awesome choice. It's hard to think about. I think the reason it becomes an issue on our server is because weapon repair kits in a mod we use also uses charcoal so by virtue of that we end up needing more charcoal.

@Codad,
Thank you for the kind words. I actually based the recipe on primitive technology's video... in the video he did use a big batch of tree branches to make charcoal. I don't think I will change that, however I will add another recipe to make charcoal with just a log. How does that sound?

I play on a multiplayer server that uses this great mod. Wanted to leave a suggestion based on seeing unintended player behavior while gathering for and crafting charcoal. Using 12 branches to craft one bag of charcoal seems like a lot. While the use of branches seems like an overall good use, I think it should be lowered on the fact that even a single person might need to clear out a substantial amount of forest to be able to make a single bag, let alone multiple.

@John Columbo,
Hi, I am not sure why it would consume that first, the mod only use vanilla mechanics... I would recommend putting the item away and then do the recycle recipes just in case. If you do have other mods installed, where might be interference as well.

Loving the new metalworking Recycle options, but is there any way you can make it so favourited items don't get consumed? I can hold a ton of bread/butter knives in my inventory, and the Recycle option will destroy the favorited kitchen knife in my backpack first...

@Rekt,
Oops just updated and added new recipes without seeing your comment, I will update again to fix that for you.

Hey just a little suggestion, to make black paint you need to use a normal bucket and cant use a paint bucket which a found a little odd because all the other recipes do use paint buckets and it makes it a lot harder because normal buckets are hard to get, and once you craft em they turn into paint buckets

I mean if you ever decide to add invisible patches for the fixes and repair all clothes (police vests and more) then that would be great. I know there are mods for that but that would eliminate 2 mods if you did it :-) . Just my two cents

@Morgan,
Of course! Let me know if you have any ideas for adding more recipes, just drop a comment and I will get to it!
