FIRST WORKSHOP RELEASE, it's still early WIP but now it's playable.

The ZC Bretonnia Reskin is an Bretonnia graphic overhaul that changes Bretonnia units to a new stylish look. This mod intends to add much variety as possible and add realism. Overall, this mod is purely graphical and does not change unit stats, this mods full intent is to just add more variety and taste to the bretonnian army in graphical aspects.

To add more description, here are some of the many changes to the listed units that are reskinned.

Much more variety of different types of chainmails and tabards having different varieties.
More helmets,
More faces both vanilla and custom-made.
More uniforms, so different types of clothing.
Randomly generated combos of anything listed above.
Adds randomised accessories such as hoods, scarfs.
Adds randomised clothing, such as straps, bags and other such items to differentiate every state trooper.
and soon-to-be different types of weapons in a regiment. An example is multiple types of swords for the swordsmen unit.
Uses a multitude of historical and concept art pieces for armour, clothing ect.

Generally the goal of the mod is to add much more variety, keeping to the unit stats, and just add more lore friendly items with combinations of historical reference and actual concept art from the warhammer wiki!


Requirements:

Unit details must be set to Ultra, any lower will cause multiple pieces of models to disappear such as the legs.

  • peasants have access to the faces poll
  • some peasants hoods have low class helmets on it
  • mixed torsos with men at arms torsos (no mail) and peasants torsos
  • removed hanging ravens/pidgeon wathever..
  • removed uncovered legs, added my remade legs
  • skirts are randomized
  • bowmen have 3 variants of quiver (thanks to details matter mod, i made one variants just for fun)
  • added padded collar in the randomization
  • adjusted some % for helmets appearance
  • Squires reskinned
  • Lily troops have now access to the new reskin if you use Lily mods

Hi, love your reskins, eagerly awaiting for the Bretonnian Command Group update.

I was wondering perhaps you know why this could clash with Tobinator's Copher Faction Overhaul? Using 300 mods and his mod only works once I disable this particular reskin of yours.

As far as I can see both your reskin and his overhaul have nothing in commong. His mod uses custom soldiers not tied to any Bretonnian factions and only available to his faction. I am by no means a modder and changing load orders failed to achieve anything.

Was wondering if you ever encountered his overhaul, maybe shed some light what might be in conflict?

Well, I feel silly. My bad, I forgot to reactive the assets in the mod manager whilst I was testing compatibility with other reskins. My mistake!

I'm not sure why but I've tested with just this mod and all of the infantry models are invisible. I tested in custom battle.

but the bretonian group mod is the same as the empire mod? if i deactivate it, the empire mod is also deactivated :(
