1- TPS were slower on a colony with 10 pawns and more than 50 animals went from around 400 to 500 to 300
2- BUT the perceived smoothness of the game is actually great, I personally will keep using it as I feel the game more responsive and less jancky with it but as TPS are lower the real performance for the game doesn't improve tho, just makes it all feel better, overall conbined with the performance mods and latest versions of Performance Fish should be a good combo, but won't add it to the list just yet as I don't feel confident saying it's actually a performance boost mod
I only found "Disable Full Screen Optimization", it doesn't run apps in the background.
"if I want more fps by sacrificing a bit of tps then use the mod. If I want the opposite then don't"

Rimworld's logic is that rendering is not important when you are trying to fast forward, so rather use that time to fast forward faster than rendering smoothly
Still trying to figure out the exact logic Ludeon uses to decide on just how much fps to "sacrifice""
Still have to test it out for myself, but my conclusion would be that isn't worth it on the late game as you will certainly need as many TPS as you can get even if it's going at 20fps at 3x speed, but I'll check it out further on real life scenarios to see if it's actually helpful.
Shouldn't do any harm having it tho, so you may try it out if you wish without a risk for your save file
@i Remain appreciate the pointing that out, my bad, will fix it ASAP
