Not lazy But efficient

Description
Short Description:
This mod allow you to use lords with governor/defender specialization, by changing the effect of so-called “lazy traits” to opposite. The more a lord works as a governor, the better his management skills become. Trait names will remain the same, though, i.e. - cunctator/faineant/slothful (imagine that the governor is called so by envious ill-wishers)!

Description:
In the vanilla game lord gets that “lazy” trait if he spend some time (governing/guarding) in a province with high public order.
But I think that is not quite right!

Consider the following.

An active, hard-working governor who is always busy - constantly fights corruption, dealing with enemy agents, restores order, protects from external and internal enemies. Furthermore, all the time he try to make any kinds of production and farming more efficient.
And for all this he gets “lazy” trait!? That’s not fair.
Only an ill-wisher would call him lazy, cunctator or something like that.
It have been said that if your enemies scold you, then you are doing everything right.

So if some enviers calls governor cunctator, he is actually buoyant and vigorous:
Enemy hero action success chance: -5%
Construction cost: -5%
Speed: +5%
Income from all building: +5%
Public order +1
Corruption reduction 1
Melee defence (governor forces) +1
Upkeep (governor forces) -1%
Spell Resist (governor forces) +1%
Armour (governor forces) +1
Diplomacy +1
Research +1
Winds of Magic per turn +1
Experience per turn +5
Tradable resources produced +1%
Income from trade tariffs +1%

If some vermin calls governor faineant, he is actually efficient:
Campaign movement range: +5%
Enemy hero action success chance: -10%
Construction cost: -10%
Speed: +10%
Income from all building: +10%
Public order +2
Corruption reduction 2
Melee defence (governor forces) +2
Upkeep (governor forces) -2%
Spell Resist (governor forces) +2%
Armour (governor forces) +2
Diplomacy +2
Research +2
Winds of Magic per turn +2
Experience per turn +10
Tradable resources produced +2%
Income from trade tariffs +2%

If some enemy of the Motherland calls governor slothful, he is actually Great ruler:
Campaign movement range: +10%
Enemy hero action success chance: -10%
Construction cost: -15%
Speed: +15%
Income from all building: +15%
Public order +3
Corruption reduction 3
Melee defence (governor forces) +3
Upkeep (governor forces) -3%
Spell Resist (governor forces) +3%
Armour (governor forces) +3
Diplomacy +3
Research +3
Winds of Magic per turn +3
Experience per turn +15
Tradable resources produced +3%
Income from trade tariffs +3%

Just the mod I was looking for. Was playing a campaign where I needed to have several key locations constantly manned. All the generals, busy defending the place mind you, got stupid lazy traits!
NO MORE! :lunar2019coolpig:

This problem doesn't occur on my system...
I think that is advisor issue. You need to confirm whatever (everything) he said/wrote, otherwise you won't be able to close the pop-ups.

I have an issue at start of turn when a character gets this trait. The window that pops up cant be closed...

DEEPLY APPRECIATED!! I too find it absurd that they regard our commanders as lazy when they are literally holding the line at the wall right next to the enemy's borders. You deserve an award for this my good sir. :DukeCash:

I have always hated the 'lazy' trait. As the intent of it is to push a player into a certain play-style or force a negative consequence. Developers need to mind their own business. Kudos for this turnabout is fair-play mod.

It's unfortunate, but this is a necessary mod.

Thank you! I play with the "recruit defeated lords" mod, and that kinda necessarily leads to having a ton of guys sitting around at very secure cities.

Why not change the names as well for the purposes of immersion?
