Description
This is a list of compatible mods which I use and think truly makes the game into almost what it could have been. Here's a summary of what it does:

- Reworks Roman garrisons adding unit diversity, but not op
- Adds units to all factions: all factions are now unique, and the non-roman factions got alot of elite units
- Roman factions also get many units which can only be recruited in certain provinces, incentivizing you to pick and choose which outer provinces to hold:
- For example syrian archers are only recruitable from syria, and are pretty good
- Imprves battle and campaign ai
- Ai colonizes and attacks you
- Attilla comes earlier and always backstabs you
- Clean textures, everything reskinned
- Roman army reskinned HD and late period shields including navy
- Roman and barbarian settlements retextured: no longer do settlements look like dirty peasant trash
- Also settlements no longer change when you convert culture: this adds map diversity in the endless siege defence that is attila, also barbarian villages are the best to defend anyway
- Flora HD
- Battles reworked alot:
- Roman units get ALOT of formations and abilities
- Friendly fire removed
- Matched combat removed: means units nolonger mix and actually keep a front line
- Battles will last longer if you use formations properly
- Walls arent made of paper anymore
- Baricades last wayyy longer
- You get more deployables on defence
- Cavalry charges are meatier
- Sanitation buildings increase fertility
- Keep legacy tech
- Better trade
- Better diplomacy
- Give away one region per turn (region trading)
- Towers debuffed completely (makes no sense the entire enemy army in town square yet lone tower can shoot you lol)
- Military buiuldings give small buffs, just adds nice flavour
- Christianity is actually good
- Character skills and army skills are way better
- Important: all generals have a movement range skill and also cunning adds movement range: so while I did n ot include an army stance mod (too many conflicts)
- the overhauled skills almost fully make up for it: level up your generals and you can march across the world in a few turns (remember one turn is 4 months so not unrealistic)
- Soundtrack replaced with best total war soundtrack in my opinion (med 2)
- Various other QOL things

NOTE:
The Roman Foderati unit packs (not the garrison one) may be considered op, so you may want to disable them. Because they let you recruit cav and archers much earlier than vanilla. I play with the WRE one, and when I play ERE I play with my own house rules where I can only recruit the foderati units in regions they come from.
