Description
Eternal champions, now for Repentance! New champion variant for all bosses and monsters, reworked final bosses, new ambush room variant, all inspired by the classic game

What's new:
• Click here to view the full documentation of this mod[docs.google.com]
• Rebalances are disabled by default, enable it for a harder game
• New champion variant for all bosses and monsters, they are tougher and may drop a reward
• New challenge room variant, they have an angel item
• New transformation, you get it after picking enough eternal hearts
• Harder final bosses
• Reduced final bosses armor

Configuration:
> In game, press F3 to open the config menu, more instructions will appear on screen
> You can configure the mod on the go, no restarts required

baby zyn sorry for the late answer.
so, about the eternal angels not dropping key pieces I don't know what could cause this, here it works as intended, eternal enemies not leaving rewards when split is because the game seems to spawn new versions of then when they are split like that, as I made eternal enemies not drop rewards when spawned by other enemies I believe this is the cause, I can't change it without removing that feature intended for these enemies, sorry for that

Very fun mod.
I like the options especially being able to limit to only one eternal enemy per room is quite nice if you want a bonus bit of difficulty.

A few more interactions that may be bugs:
- Both Angel boss's eternal forms do not drop Key Pieces.
- Eternal enemies split by the Meat Cleaver never drop pickups.

Once again, I'm loving this mod, The difficulty provides so much replay value. :steamhappy:

some common enemies like flies, dips and spiders doesn't have an eternal form, boss challenge room is an exception and never has eternal enemies, another exception to the mod rule is the eternal embryo which is a special enemy that has an even lower chance to be found compared with another eternal enemies

There are a couple cases I've encountered where enemies and bosses are never eternal:
- Boss Challenge Rooms
- Small enemies spawned by rooms (Flies, Dips, Spiders)

I think 100% eternal would be more fun with these being included, since right now they pretty much just give free rooms and room rewards.

Very fun mod with creative enemy reworks. Rooms are somewhat do-able even at 100% eternal enemies, provided you take the run seriously and minmax. The feeling of RotL eternal mode is carried over very well. Good job devs! :repill:

I also have a bug: when the chance to make all monsters eternal is set and max eternal monsters per room is = 0 (so that it triggers as per the description), chance to have an eternal monster spawn in a room is drastically reduced, even when set to 100%.
Having max eternal monsters per room to the default 3 fixes the issue. Tested with and without mods that resprite enemies to no noticeable effect
