Description
Description
This MOD give your faction to "Gene Hunter" and "Material Expertise" on turn 2 or 3.
With this Trait, you can harvest genes.
And, This can be used as a strategic resource for star system development upgrades.

This mod has been partially extracted from that mod.

I made this mod in response to a request from Mr.Grimwood.

What is Gene Hunter ?
This is the Trait of Horatio.
With this Trait, you can harvest genes from any factions.

What is Material Expertise ?
This is the Trait of DLC1 Vaulter.
This can be used as a strategic resource for star system development upgrades.

This Trait is only available in Vaulter, even if you have purchased the DLC1.
With this mod, you can use it regardless of your factions.

Details of this change
Version 1.0.1...The construction of the facility was mandatory to grant Trait to the Empire.
Version 1.0.2...This MOD give your faction to "Gene Hunter Trait" on turn 3. It's not unlocked by buildings, but by hidden quests.
Version 1.0.3...I have added "Material Expertise Trait". It's not a problem to have.

I recommend the following MOD.
This sets the number of pieces required for gene collection to 1.
However, it is not currently working.

I re-read your comment and it said Building.
Trait granting in this mod is not building.
It is granted automatically on the second turn.
If you turn the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, the GeneHunter icon will appear.

There was a guy about 5 years ago who would say "I chose left but it didn't work" even though I repeatedly said right.
Did he also assume I was asking a riddle question and read too much into it?

Unsubscribe once and make sure that the mod in question is gone from your succubscription mod folder.
Subscription again.

Past questions and answers
Q.The GeneHunter facility showed up but took 8 turns. Why?
A.The game screen redraws when you turn the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the screen. You simply did not redraw the screen.

Q.I looked at your Common Quest code and it is misspelled. I corrected the misspelling and the quest no longer occurs. Please correct it immediately.
A. Calm down, let's say I have a code that calls BBB with AAA.
"I don't like AAA so I changed it to CCC. Hey, it stopped working. Why?　Fix it, NOW !!"

BBB is registered in AAA and not in CCC. Of course it is.

If you choose right in Common Quest, it will be added in as little as the second turn or so.
There was one idiot in the comments of another mod who interpreted "choose right" as "choose the correct answer", but this right means direction.

As I have said many times, I am writing new code, not rewriting vanilla.
There is no part of this mod that is affected by the game upload.

Mostly you just didn't notice.
The gene hunter icon on the game screen will show up in the screen redraw if you zoom in and out by scrolling your mouse.
