I want to create a mod that gives unique weapon modules to major factions. I have created some unique weapons for the Riftborn. However when I add the new missile module to the ship, the game freezes. After about five seconds, it returns but the ship animation is missing. Every time after that I go back to the ship module, the game freezes, and eventually comes back. It clearly has something to do with animations, but I have no idea what. Do I have to stunt my Science research at some point? I get barely past 5 of 8 before I had no choice but to research the Endless Technologies. Even my ally eventually researched them.

What is the proper way to use projectile weapons? I went through a lot of reading and I really cant think of a reason why kinetic would be better than beam/laser weaponry mainly due to range, flak, and delay. - Cross fire makes long range a much more common than other range regardless of tactic cards... -This renders pure slug unrealistic... - And the only long range projectile weapons (missiles/bombers) are often countered by flak and has a delay... The delay makes them a bit worse for match ups as enem...

At turn 83, I have a System producing 813 gears per turn, which I felt was pretty damn good. Nah, fam. Kappa (AI) apparently has the highest-producing System in the galaxy. WTH!? Does anyone know if I install ES2 onto my NAS (Network Attached Storage; WD My Cloud 12 TB External storage, attached to my Router), will it still work properly? I recently moved ES2 from pc storage to the NAS, and it wouldn't work, just drops when loading. It was doing so on the PC (.5 TB) storage as well, which my pc only has about 100 GB left, not much to work with.
