Kwama nests separated from MorrowRim and fully standalone.

Kwama nests.
Inaccessible kwama eggmines will generate on the world map. Settling near an eggmine on tiles with caves will have a random chance to generate kwama nests instead of insectoid hives, based on distance from the eggmine. The kwama will remain peaceful, unless threatened. If they are threatened they will aggressively defend their nest, returning to a peaceful state after a period of time. The nest entrances will periodically spawn kwama egg sacs, these can be deconstructed for kwama eggs.

New events.
  • Kwama nest expands. A new kwama nest entrance is created in a nearby cave.
  • Trojan infestation. Insectoids begin emerging from a kwama nest entrance.

Requirements:
  • Requires Harmony
  • Requires Orions Faction Discovery or Vanilla Expanded Framework, if added to an existing save.

Compatibility:
  • Don't use at the same time as MorrowRim
  • Fully compatible with MorrowRim - Just the Animals, make sure to load this mod after.
  • Better Infestations will prevent kwama nests from spawning during map gen, and instead spawn insectoid hives. Kwama nests will still be able to spawn through events.
  • Has special integration with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids, allowing you to create kwama.
  • Has special integration with Vanilla Outposts Expanded, adding in the kwama egg outpost.

Credits:
  • Based on the 'Elder Scrolls' series by Bethesda Game Studios.
  • Big thanks to Kropolis for the absolutely fantastic MorrowRim preview and banner art.

I'm sorry this mod didn't get the support it should have. I love the idea of the Kwama! But I didn't really feel like the rest of the Morrowrim features fit all too well.

That's unfortunate to hear - I can't imagine doing a proper Dunmer colony without kwama being involved. Hope any future update goes well.

@Texas Redhawk, either as part of ashlands, or as a standalone mod. Not that it really makes much of a difference , this mod didn't get much support in the first place. And I would've abandoned it had 1.5 released before Ashlands.

The description here says that this mod is deprecated and replaced by Ashlands, but Ashlands doesn't actually have kwama in it according to the FAQ. Are kwama planned to be implemented in Ashlands later?

@Isaac iq, I genuinely have no idea.

Does this work in multiplayer perhaps?

Yes, and it should work fine. You shouldn't run into kwama guests.

for some reason when i load hospitality it tells me to hide the faction so that no guests appear?

It should run fine as is. And with how it currently works, making it a hidden faction would break it.

How can i make the Faction hidden so that I can run it with hospitality?
