Description
Adds cluster variants of HE, Smoke, and Flare grenades. Includes 40mm rounds.

Cluster Grenade
*Has the throwing range of a RGN grenade.
*Releases submuition grenades with each having half the damage of a RGO but 33% more range.
*Caution: Try to keep 10+ meter distance or cover between you and this grenade, its extra range and spread is hazardous to life.

Cluster Smokescreen 120°
*Deploys a smokescreen on impact with ground, smokescreen deploys in direction the grenade is facing.
*Smokescreen is a 120 degrees arc.
*Due to bounce/throwing physics, the 120 arc won't always deploy perpendicular to you.
*For best consistency, stand still and make a good throw.

Cluster Smokescreen 360°
*Full circle variant, deploys smokescreen in large circle around impact point.
*More consistent in deploying smoke where you want it than normal variant.

Grape Shot
*High penetration, low velocity, high dispersion.
*Effective range under 50 meters.

Cluster Flare
*Higher velocity, higher light intensity, higher time to live than vanilla flares.

-Since having a lot of bullet tracing lines is bad for performance, they cause performance drop when used with smokescreen grenades because it shows a lot of lines. Use a mod like SSPCM to limit the amount if you want to spam smokescreen grenades in Virtual Arsenal.

anyone else having trouble with this on a dedicated? instead of the one pulse of objects, it spawns dozens upon dozens, and the effect is severely lowered. its not the modpack because it works with tower run servers and in singleplayer/arsenal. This is with an Optre modpack, but as I said it works fine in everything but a dedicated server.

Not expecting you to change your mod but just reporting back the arty mod guy's response in case you feel what he suggests is something worth doing: This mod changes the artillery smoke because the vanilla artillery smoke is very ineffective; it looks similar to a hand thrown smoke grenade. I have to change the vanilla arty smoke class, otherwise mods that use it will end up using the ineffective vanilla arty smoke. The arty smoke has been made larger and will last longer, without impacting performance too much. I've tried before to make arty smoke look like white-phosphorus (exploding into a large cloud), but it then impacts performance too much. So, the hexachloroethane-zinc smoke is a nice balance between effectiveness and performance.
I would suggest to the modder, from the smoke grenade mod, to define all the smoke values that he requires for his mod. Otherwise, any mod that modifies the vanilla arty smoke will end up changing the way his smoke looks.

Looks like that arty mod adds custom black smoke effects to artillery smoke which is inherited to this mod's smokescreen grenades. I don't know if this was intended as it's not an advertised feature or if it's a bug on that mod's part. You might want to ask the author about the black smoke.

Love this mod but running into issues with a clash with another mod. Probably the problem lies with the arty mod since its newer but thought I would mention it in case it wasn't and hoped you could take a look. When using this mod https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2238813570 plus this one the smokescreens are getting changed (greyish black and smoke no longer builds properly). Mod load order doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks for any help you can give even if to just confirm the problem lies with something the other mod is doing.

I've forgot to mention that this does not happen on singleplayer or local server, only happens to dedicated server. I tested with ACE and CBA only with dedicated server, and it happens frequently.
I've made a more detailed test, and found out when the cluster grenade are thrown out and it "generates" children grenades, just as the children grenades explode, a bunch of new children grenades are generated just at players' position, then explode and hit player.

I wasn't able to recreate the issue of the cluster grenade exploding on my position:

The most that I've noticed is that the grenade generates a lot more sharpnel than regular grenades. Have you tried testing with only ACE3 and this mod? Perhaps something else could be the cause.

Hi, this mod seems not compatible with ACE3's advanced throw (Shift+G). No matter how far I throw the grenade, it always explode at my position. Using default throw (G only) is okay. Could you please check it out?
