Material Filter

Omschrijving
Allows to filter everything in a stockpile/shelf/outfit by the material it is made of.

Requires HugsLib.
Load anywhere after it.

Also works for modded materials.
Load order of those mods should be irrelevant to this one (except if they add Defs via .dll).

https://github.com/Kamikaetzchen/MaterialFilter

B19 Version can be found here.

-------------------------------------------------
Supported Languages

Japanese (Proxyer)
Russian («(PeGaS)»)

This mod breaks the vanilla food policy restriction filters.

Meaning it bypasses the selection for meat/vegetarian/insect/human, etc. With this mod, the pawn selects any meal and disregards its content.

Also, it seems it is not safe to remove mid game. Upon removal, a LOT of errors seemingly related to Hauling happen. I didn't see in the logs errors related to apparel policy, but it is possible.

This mod seems to remove the Defaults button from Animal Controls on the Food Policy tab: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2426119067

@LordHeadass You would make a new policy, and then at the top, click the filter button to only allow them to wear clothing made from that specific material. Then you would set up a separate policy that only uses the other material.

This will apply to the entire policy, so if you wanted them to wear hats made of devilstrand, but dusters made of hyperweave in the same policy, this would not work. I tend to not use this since I like them to wear Bioferrite slave collars, but the rest of the clothes made from other materials.

One option you might try is to use Colony Groups, and assign clothing colors to each group. Whenever they go put on a new piece of clothing, they will automatically dye it to whatever color you have assigned to them.

Is there a mod that makes this applicable to individual apparel policies? This one seems to apply the restrictions to all clothing rather than by the policy/item you've got selected.

I'm trying to get two groups (based on apparel policy) to wear the same article of clothing but have one group only wear hyperweave and the other only wear devilstrand (sue me, i'm ex-military and like things uniform and organized). Or maybe this mod does it and I'm doing something wrong?
