Description

Classic Mode is a mod for Killing Floor 2 that tries to simulate the gameplay and various system from Killing Floor 1.

Here is a list of changes.

Classic styled HUD elements
Classic Lobby Menu and Trader Menu
Custom trader voice
Custom Music
Serverside perks
Custom perks/weapons/characters
Ability to set event zeds globally or map specific
Ability to set max monsters globally or map specific
Custom chatbox that supports client configured color tags (^1 = Red, ^2 = Green)
Classic style zeds
Adjusted weapons to fit the KF1 stats
Endless and Objective mode support
Many different configurations to change gameplay
Loads of clientside features that can be toggled or disabled
Partial support for Controlled Difficulty
Added elements from Unofficial Mod

Install

Server

Subscribe your server to this workshop
Start you server and wait for it to download this mod
Stop the server
Add ?Mutator=KFClassicModeSrv.ClassicMode to your commandline in the .bat

Client

Subscribe to this workshop
Open console with ~
Type open KF-BioticsLab?Mutator=KFClassicModeSrv.ClassicMode and hit enter

Don't like the KF1 gameplay?

Navigate to My Documents/My Games/KillingFloor2/KFGame/Config
Open KFClassicMode.ini
Add or Set bDisableGameplayChanges to true

I don't change any of the gameinfo parameters so long must be what it defaults to without a ?GameLength= entry

nice thanks also maybe its an issue with classic menu but the game length is always long unless i start it from the console

is there anyway to make the menu actually pause the game when playing solo it just keeps going cant change my settings without getting killed, also music doesnt work but great mod
