Description
Classic Mode is a mod for Killing Floor 2 that tries to simulate the gameplay and various system from Killing Floor 1.

Here is a list of changes.
  1. Classic styled HUD elements
  2. Classic Lobby Menu and Trader Menu
  3. Custom trader voice
  4. Custom Music
  5. Serverside perks
  6. Custom perks/weapons/characters
  7. Ability to set event zeds globally or map specific
  8. Ability to set max monsters globally or map specific
  9. Custom chatbox that supports client configured color tags (^1 = Red, ^2 = Green)
  10. Classic style zeds
  11. Adjusted weapons to fit the KF1 stats
  12. Endless and Objective mode support
  13. Many different configurations to change gameplay
  14. Loads of clientside features that can be toggled or disabled
  15. Partial support for Controlled Difficulty
  16. Added elements from Unofficial Mod

Install
Server
Subscribe your server to this workshop
Start you server and wait for it to download this mod
Stop the server
Add ?Mutator=KFClassicModeSrv.ClassicMode to your commandline in the .bat
Client
Subscribe to this workshop
Open console with ~
Type open KF-BioticsLab?Mutator=KFClassicModeSrv.ClassicMode and hit enter

Full Gamepad Support
A - LeftClick
B - RightClick
Thumbsticks - Move mouse
Shoulder Buttons - Change tabs in the main menu

Don't like the KF1 gameplay?
  1. Navigate to My Documents/My Games/KillingFloor2/KFGame/Config
  2. Open KFClassicMode.ini
  3. Add or Set bDisableGameplayChanges to true

I don't change any of the gameinfo parameters so long must be what it defaults to without a ?GameLength= entry

nice thanks also maybe its an issue with classic menu but the game length is always long unless i start it from the console

is there anyway to make the menu actually pause the game when playing solo it just keeps going cant change my settings without getting killed, also music doesnt work but great mod

Why does the difficulty autoset itself to HoE? It's really damn annoying, anyway to change it? Also there isn't any music

This also has a conflict due to ClassicScoreboard, pls fix it. i'm still running server in KR

Is there a console command to max out the perks? The ones i saw on the default config doesnt seems to work. Im sure im doing something wrong
