Description
This mod overhauls ethics and government. Its intentionally kept seperate from the Core Game Mechanics and AI mod to alliw players more flexibility. Nonetheless, I highly recommend using them together, and these two mods synergize.

So what does this mod do?

The TL;DR version is that it changes all vanilla ethics, all vanilla authorities, most vanilla civics , most vanilla species rights and population policies and most vanilla ethic attractions and factions in ways that I feel are more interesting, fun and balanced. I also attempt to address some of the problems introduced by 1.8 and Synthetic Dawn. Finally, I also add three new civics. Or you can read the full list of changes in ---> the CHANGELOG.

This mod is 100% savegame compatible. It is also compatible with all tradition changing mods. It is not compatible with the Cultural Overhaul mod, for this you need one of these two compatibility patches:

Just to warn you the patch is a relatively simple merged type patch with small tweaks to combine them and it likely needs more tweaks to fix issues.

Fixed it, but contributors don't have upload rights so we'll have to wait for Ex to catch a break. :p

Tried both. New game, various species and a couple of different saves of species and saves at various points. No dice. Missing in all. Congrats on the new baby as well!

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I asked @GrueZilla to take a look at this since I'm quite busy (new baby :)). Anyhow, can you please check an earlier save? There might be an issue with the savegame.

Dang that was fast but still broken. In my save it displays that the species is on caste system residence but there is no option for it in the citizenship options and the effects are not taking effect, all are slaves regardless of job. Again, disabled all options appear again. Even tried vanilla with just this mod and it is still missing. Disabled all mods updated on Nov 6th one by one and still broken so I am 100% sure it is still within this mod somwhere.
