If this helps, I was playing as a tomb world Ravenous hive.
i had planetary diversity on, Selected tomb world for a preset species and Then Removed planetary diversity.
Instead of not letting me choose the Prebuilt empire, It let me choose it and still had the world type as "tomb world"
In game it spawned as a barren planet with "Terraforming candidate" and With a habitat above it.
