Spent 25 hours in this game I will try to tell my feelings succinctly on this game. Spread on the minuses and pluses.

Pros:
- Good optimization, even considering that it costs Denuvo this is a record among AAA games.
- Removed the annoying store. Now there are only skins for Uplay coins and treasure maps, which can be easily bought in the game by stealing 40-70 times from passersby without resorting to their personal finances.
- Now there are no levels for bots and Basim himself. There is only a class of skill, which is almost in no way reflected in the battle. A pleasant bonus brought talismans of the level of the fighter, which increase depending on the progress of the fighter in the story.
- Skins and guises have been separated. Now the player himself decides what he likes visually, and the characteristics do not fit, but still he can wear it safely. Weapons have also undergone changes and any weapon that you like can be worn in the characteristics of other weapons, you just need to go to the store and re-weaponize to what you like.
- Skins from the premium edition do not bring too much imbalance to the game and you can play fine with the standard edition.
- The atmosphere of the game is a 7/10. I really like the music, Arabic mysticism...aladdin... jinn...Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. I love it and they managed to recreate it.
- “Baghdad Stories” as additional quests complement the content of the game quite well and in general I'm glad they loaded the game with minimal tasks
- Stealth levels are easy and the perk system is minimal, which brings us back to the genesis of the series.
- Interesting contracts in the offices, but there are not many of them
- Stopped giving experience points for kills, which sends us back to our old roots

Cons:
- The plot is mediocre at 5/10. In no way does it compare to the first installment, much less the Ezio trilogy. The ending is just not finished and not worthy in my personal opinion. Considering Baghdad played a big part in the origin story of the brotherhood, it's not clear to me why they didn't use almost anything from past installments of the legendary 10s series. Undoubtedly they made a step in the right direction, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the mistakes, let's wish them good luck in that :)
- The graphics are average, it doesn't feel like a game released in 2023 against the background of other games :(
- Throughout the game I encountered three bugs in quests and I encountered texture flickering more than 5 times when restarting the game. All of this was solved by another restart. Given that the game is a year old and these bugs have long been familiar to everyone - you could try to fix before the release in stim.
- Removed the interactive guide. now you need to collect spheres and read the history of Baghdad if you are very interested. This had no effect on gameplay and was a nice addition, but for some reason they abandoned it.
- No Russian localization
- No RTX rays. Modern technology is only DLSS, DLAA.
- The game itself is soapy and pale, and even at 4k resolution, I used filters “Sharpness at 100%” and “RTX Dinamic Vibrance” these filters transform the game to a normal look.
- The developers didn't go overboard. The same synchronization points, the bird was not removed, weapons are very few in the game, including 1 blade. No other locations except Baghdad and Alamut, no winter and no interaction with wildlife (you can pet kitties). The whole plot resembles an investigation and you play as a homicide detective, all these branches of bosses and mini bosses they took from the Odyssey, nothing new in it.

Conclusions

If you're tired of the last three games in the series and the endless farming, silly leveling, insulting store - you should play. If you want to see/feel the same vibe from this game as the previous games with Altair, Ezio, Kenway, it's better not to buy it. My personal interest was in Iraq, the serenity of the game without levels, the pleasure of stealth on the story I did not count on and I do not advise you.
