When I sit down to play this game, hours fly by!

In comparison to a game like Rimworld, this game has fewer systems and less random events, but the tech progression is good, and I enjoyed the 3 scenarios in the base game.

It can be challenging working with your survivors, especially those who are harder to keep happy, but once you can button down the scheduling and task management, it becomes easier. But don't get complacent because things can get out of hand quickly if you are not paying attention!

I did wait for a sale to pick this up (20% off I believe), but not because I didn't think the game was worth it, but because I have tried other survival colony games (Rimworld being one) that I just couldn't get into. Now that I have played it, I think the asking price is reasonable.
