okay
if you enjoy any civ type game, but you find the whole govt, micro manage peace talks nonsense boring,
you just want to manage huge armies of harpies, trolls, monsters, and an endless number of human, lizard, demon spawn troops
..... this game is for you
I'm over 200 hours in and I have a long way to go before I see everything this game has as far as campaign choices
not to mention the dialogue choices can make a huge difference on your path, you can play good or evil
so replay value is here in a big way
I'm totally hooked and see me playing this for hundreds of more hours

two huge thumbs up on this one

..... the story is amazing and the combat is a blast, if you get this game you will LOVE IT!

I cant wait to see how this early access game plays out
right now it has more than enough content to justify picking it up now

and the user created skirmish maps are VERY good

I should have done more research on this game before purchase
if you were hoping for an old fashioned D&D dungeon crawler... this is not it
your forced to take certain characters that are junk, the shops do not restock so you can only get ONE good sword, one good armor and so on, you have cool downs on your abilities but bad guys do not so they just spam death attacks and summons one after another

not fun

so this is one of those games that you will restart 3 or 4 times
there are so many parts of this game that are not explained you have to learn as you play
... hence the reason to restart so many times
but........... after you finally get how to play and keep your gear, weight, food and everything else in check, you will find yourself still playing at 5 oclock in the morning
a massive fun game still in EA and if the devs keep up the good work, this game will be an epic classic forever
I love it and I would type more about this game but my team of warriors are waiting for me and we have to get back to the adventure

so I am very early in the game but I have to insist
if you like battle brothers or low magic age
this is a new game you need to add to your library
get in and support the devs because this indie game gets TONS of dev support

its funny, after 53 hours and working my way up to unlock all the heroes
..... your done
after that you have daily challenges that are insane HARD!
I dont mind getting wiped out because of a few mistakes on my part, but the difficulty spike is through the roof
so yeah its fun to unlock the heroes.... but its not fun if the rest of the game is locked up for only the most diehard fanboys

I also have to say making a run can take a long time, so if you make it to the last circle fighting the end boss........... and the game crashes, it will drive you nuts
I searched around to see if others were having the same problem, but the only thing I found was something to do the the opening video causing an issue
this was not where my crash was coming from but I tried the "fix" that was posted in discussions by the devs and it did nothing, still crashes without mercy

and why post a fix in discussions vs. putting out an update?

the devs are on discord responding to players ideas and bugs
the game gets regular updates and the future looks very bright for this indie game
the combat is fun and the ability to REALLY customize your team of six is refreshing

the price is right so I give two big thumbs up, get in and you will quickly get addicted and find yourself still playing at 5:00 o'clock in the morning

love this game

if you have played any previous disciples games or enjoy HOMM games then you dont want to miss this

well its a ton of fun, some of the best for a fallout game
BUT ... the game crashes without mercy, and I'm not kidding, it will drive you crazy how much this game crashes
........... but I still enjoy it and continue to play, you just have to deal with massive crash issues
