This is an incredible MMORPG. It has a great gear progression system, it has loads of world content to do for hardcore players and casuals alike, it has pvp, it has tons of collectibles. Yes, it does offer significant advantages to people who choose to spend real money on it, but this does not take away from the f2p player's experience and certainly does not lock you out of any content. Fans of mmorpg, arpg and rpg in general will probably love it. Give it a go, it's free.

Can't recommend this to people who aren't hardcore YS fans. Game has a decent combat system, but is pretty short and the main length comes from replaying it with different characters. While the characters are different enough, you use all of them to play through the exact same game content. The difference is that there are some minor dialogue changes between the characters but as far as mobs, levels and bosses it's pretty much the same. Also, both the design and graphics are a bit antiquated, which makes it a tough sell in the modern day as a PC game. If anything get this on switch and play on the go.

PS. Also, the game has mandatory grinding, which is especially painful for the replaying with other characters. If you don't just downright grind levels, you will reach a point at which mobs take almost no dmg and you have to go back to the previous floor and train your character.

An incredible game. A must have for both hardcore YS fans and average rpg enjoyers. Gameplay wise it's almost identical to YS 8 with the added feature of wall running, climbing buildings, gliding etc. It copies a lot of the great features of YS 8, if you loved that game you will enjoy this one for sure.

That was an incredible experience. Both the plot and the gameplay is crisp. Certainly among my favorite single player games of all time.

Solid JARPG with good mechanics, interesting story, and interesting achievements to go for.

This is a must have for everyone who ever enjoyed One Piece in their lives, possibly even to people who had no prior experience with the series. It's better than Pirate Warriors 3, which was already incredible, in basically every aspect, Smoother gameplay, better graphics, more interesting character progression, destructible terrain...all that good stuff. All the canonical techniques from One Piece are here, characters, locations, which also includes all the newer stuff like Big Mom, Kaido, etc.

The only possible downside I can find is the story. It seems they wanted to fit the whole of One Piece in this game for some reason, which results in like 75% of it being cut out, or told to us by narrator through cutscenes. If you know the story from the manga or the anime this won't be an issue, but people who hope to follow the plot through the game will probably not be able to do that here. I wish they'd just started from a later part of the story and followed it more closely instead.

Bought the game and could not play for 2 days because the servers were constantly offline / in maintenance. Offlinea and on-line characters are separate, so you can't make an offline one and use it later for on-line. Also, the game is riddled with bugs based on what people are writing on forums. Characters disappear, stash disappears, bugs, glitches. The game might be good but lacks polish and internet infrastructure. Wait a couple months and buy it on sale when they fix it

Another great spin off with fresh ideas. This one is more of a 2d platformer with rpg elements than an actual rpg. It is vastly different from the main entry games, and that's probably why it garners some criticism. If you're able to approach it without bias and knowing that it's a fresh take, you'll probably enjoy it.

A very interesting entry in the series and you will definitely enjoy it if you're a fan of the series. It's not very well balanced and not very challenging, but it's a lot of fun. Apparently there's an on-line mode, but from what I heard it's sort of dead anyway, so don't buy it planning to play it with others or you will be disappointed most probably. It's a good single player experience with about 20 hrs to complete everything.
