I've enjoyed OMD 1 and 2 a whole lot more than this.

Pros:
+ Some new maps are okay.
+ A few new characters.
+ More traps.
+ New map type which is okay'ish.

Cons:
- Graphics are very mediocre for 2021.
- Gameplay is hectic, you have no time between waves on Med difficulty or higher.
- A lot of traps just plain suck.
- Barricades can be destroyed, an unwelcome return from previous games.
- Some maps on Med difficulty+ cannot be complete without constant selling and buying of traps which has to be time perfect.
- Coop did not work.

This is a good but not great open world third person action game, buy on sale.

Pros:
+ Good graphics.
+ Good optimisation.
+ Great story.
+ Fantastic dialogue.
+ Interesting characters.
+ Lots of gear to buy or unlock such as weapons and outfits.
+ Said gear can be customised with inserts.
+ Decent upgrade tree.

Cons:
- Stealth is bad.
- Combat in general is a bit subpar.
- Combat in DLC against DLC specific enemies is downright messy and bad.
- Not enough inventory space to store everything you might want to hoard.

This is a very polished sniper/stealth shooter.

Pros:
+ Good visuals.
+ Very good sniping mechanics.
+ Above average stealth mechanics.
+ A decent story although there is not much of it.
+ Good voice acting.
+ Lots of ways to accomplish mission objectives.
+ Challenges increase replayability substantially.
+ Good level design.

Cons:
+ Some levels could be bigger.
+ Some achievements are quite annoying.
+ Fast travel becomes unavailable even if a kill objective was completed in stealth.

This is a very nice action/exploration game.

Pros:
+ Fantastic visual style.
+ Runs bug free.
+ Interesting story.
+ Goofy humour.
+ Decent upgrade tree.
+ Good gameplay.
+ Lots of exploration.
+ Lots of things to do.

Cons:
- Some secrets can involve some pretty annoying jumping.
- Some backtracking.
- Only 1 weapon but it can be upgraded.

Could have been a good game but it just isn't.

Pros:
+ Really cool artstyle.
+ An okay story with visual story telling.

Cons:
- Terrible map.
- Lots of backtracking.
- Absolutely terrible controls.
- Cannot use the mouse.
- The puzzles are easy but arduous.

This had some potential, but in the end, the cons heavily outweigh the pros.

Pros:
+ Big map.
+ Interesting enemy designs.
+ Coop.
+ Nice graphics.
+ Decent combat.

Cons:
- Loot is terrible.
- Cloths provide insignificant bonuses.
- No point in fighting big enemies, they don't drop anything decent.
- Dead playerbase.
- Very limited safehouse inventory, there is no reason for it to be this tiny.
- Story is boring.
- Crafting is linked to collectables which are difficult to find in a massive world.
- Getting around is very annoying, if you run everywhere you will get spotted and these enemies will follow you right across the map.
- Stealth sucks, there is no way to one shot medium enemies in stealth.
- Copy pasted buildings everywhere.
- Repetitive missions.
- No NPCs.
- No traders.
- Bad skill tree with a lot of bad choices.
- No respec.
- Limited enemy variety.

I like most of puzzle games I played but certainly not this one.

+ Great environments.
+ Somewhat interesting story.

- Illogical puzzles.
- Very slow character movement.
- Infuriatingly slow ladder animations.
- Significant distances between puzzle elements.

A big disappointment, I enjoyed the first game but this one is simply mediocre. The developers should have stuck to what they know, a broadside capital ship game, instead they went for dogfight space game and failed miserably. Only get this if you like "space mining" and even then on a 75% off discount.

Pros:
+ Good music.
+ Mining is good and provides decent reward for time spent.
+ A couple of decent ships.
+ Some decent looking areas in space.

Cons:
- Very limited ship variety.
- Combat is poor with floaty controls and swarming enemies.
- In higher risk areas your flight is constantly interrupted by enemies taking you out of "warp" drive (not its actual name).
- Enemies never drop anything of real value.
- Mission reward is extremely poor for time spent, the only way to make money at a meaningful pace is to mine.
- Story is very bad, same goes for characters.
- All sectors feel very samey.
- Basically, combat is to be avoided since the mechanics are bad, the rewards are miniscule and there is real risk of spending more in repairs/consumables than you get from mission rewards and salvage.
- "Illegal" cargo is completely pointless, it's worth very little, there are hardly any stations that will buy it off you and if you are scanned with it, the police start chasing you.
- Trading is pointless, between low price delta and very low stocks on stations it's even less efficient than combat missions which are already less efficient than mining by a factor of 5 to 10 depending on sector.

I am sorry but this game is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring, it's really that basic. I only have 2.5 hours in it and that little time consists of three separate gaming sessions, this is the definition of bland. Bland world, bland characters, bland enemies, bland soundscape, bland combat, bland "loot" system if you can call it that, bland progression, Bland the Game. I can't even be assed with my usual pros and cons format for this, it left me that cold and uninspired that I can't even be bothered to break down everything that's wrong with it. This is easily the most boring game I played this year.

This is a below average space aRPG game with far too many issues.

Positives:
+ Lots of ships and weapons to choose from.
+ A lot of areas to explore.
+ Mining was a fairly relaxing activity.

Negatives:
- Enemy AI and ship auto-pilot AI is brain dead, enemies regulary get themselves killed in asteroid fields just trying to navigate through them and you can get heavily damaged just trying to dock with stations which is an auto-pilot only affair as your ship bumps into everything.
- The story is hilariously bad and the "writing" is strewn with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
- There are plenty of bugs including crashes and incorrect mission rewards.
- The skill tree is sub-par.
- There are only two ways to efficiently obtain money - trade missions (deliver X to Y, then come back to station of origin) and mining, fighting enemies is terrible for this.
- Combat is garbage-tier, the only weapons that are in any way efficient are lasers but their range is extremely small.
