Garbage.

Pros:
+ W40k aesthetic is done right.

Cons:
- Bad RPG mechanics.
- Horrible, ultra-bulletsponge boss fights.
- Movement is imprecise.
- Weapons don't feel right.
- Cyber mastiff is useless.
- Bad map design.
- Very bad voice acting.
- Repetitive.

This is the best AAA FPS game of 2021. This isn't because it's an exceptional game, with its many flaws it barely makes it into the "good" tier, it's because the competition is embarrassing trash. You have Call of Poopy 100, another low effort reskin of Farcry 3 and the worst Battlefield game ever released. It's not hard to look smart when you are the only kid with 3 digit IQ on the yellow bus. This review focuses on SP campaign.

Pros:
+ Decent performance.
+ No bugs for me.
+ Excellent combat.
+ Great movement mechanics.
+ Most guns feel good to use.
+ Fantastic enemy AI.
+ Lots of activities to do in the open world.
+ Good visuals.
+ Some decent abilities to use.
+ Plenty of replayability with the challenge system.

Cons:
- Supporting cast in main story is subpar, your allies are one dimensional and the big bad is a try-hard edgelord.
- Story in general is mediocre.
- Only aircraft and hovercraft have real utility in the open world, wheel and tracked vehicles will either get you killed or take longer to get to where you are going than getting there on foot due to a massive amount of obstacles.
- Open world is kinda samey, only really one biome type.

Yeah, no. About two thirds of the game were quite good up to the point I played, I did require assistance on about 3 puzzles up to that point, then I came across one that had me completely stumped. The solution to this "puzzle" felt very exploity instead of a legitimate solution and that's when I stopped playing. One other issue this has is the fact that a lot of the puzzles require you to be second perfect which is bad design for a puzzle game, the platformer part of this game lets down the entire package.

This is worth getting if you really like puzzle platformers but if you just like puzzles, it really isn't, get Talos Principle instead.

This would have been somewhat okay if not memorable in the slightest if it didn't have one idiotic mechanic that you absolutely have to master to progress the story.

Pros:
- Great visuals.
- Exploration.
- Cool ship designs.
- Runs smooth and bug free.

Cons:
- Clunky controls.
- Combat is average at best.
- Silly and non-sensical "space wizards" story.
- Character often whispers in dialogue like a mental asylum escapee.
- Completely idiotic "drift" mechanic that highlights the clunkyness of controls.
- Repetitive side activities and poor side mission design.

There are many problems with BF5 but they can all be summed up quite simply - it's a bad Battlefield game. This game is a pygmy standing on the shoulders of giants.

Pros:
- A couple of okay maps.
- No disconnects or server issues experienced in my time with the game.
- Good visuals and sound.
- Gunplay is decent.

Cons:
- Most maps are bad.
- Gun attachments don't affect gun performance, magic (specialisations) does.
- Vehicles are the worst in the entire history of the franchise. I am a vehicle guy in BF games but I spent 99% of my time on foot in this one.
- Terrible UI.
- The single player missions are garbage.
- Vulnerability time periods when reviving and entering/exiting vehicles.
- Fortifications is a pointless mechanic and a poorly implemented one at that.
- No "Battlefield Moments".
- Lower amount and quality of content compared to BF3/4.
- Either the anti-cheat doesn't work or it doesn't exist.

This game is a must-play for fans of top down roguelikes.

Pros:
- Fantastic visual style.
- Bug free.
- Good audio.
- Great gameplay.
- Okay story.
- Comprehensive and well designed persistent upgrade system.
- Meaningfully different runs.
- High replayability.
- Skippable bosses once you defeat them once.
- 6 worlds.
- 2 puzzle mini games.

Cons:
- Some weapons are quite bad unless you get extremely lucky with RNG.
- Melee playstyle is at significant disadvantage in worlds 5 and 6.

Could have been good but it has too many issues.

Pros:
- Half Life 2 vibes.
- Decent weapons.
- Some light puzzles.
- Atmospheric.
- Good graphics.

Cons:
- Very short, took me 4 hours with some backtracking and exploration.
- Bugs, game crashed 3 times during the playthrough.
- Few weapons.
- Mediocre enemies.
- Puzzles are too easy.

As far as top down action roguelike games go, this is as close to perfection as any game in the genre gets.

Pros:
- Excellent gameplay.
- Challenging yet not unfair combat.
- Different rolls will result in meaningfully different runs.
- Excellent voice acting.
- Interesting story and characters.
- Good level design.
- Great enemy design and variety.
- One of the weapons allows top down shooter gameplay.
- Unique visual style.
- Bug free for me.
- Extensive base customisation system.
- Deep and well designed persistent upgrade system.
- Solid challenge modifier system.

Cons:
- Some achievements are extremely painful but this is expected in this genre.
- Fishing mini game is too twitchy.

This isn't anywhere near as good as Doom 2016, what a disappointment, I waited until this was 66% off because I knew about the issues but I still think I overpaid.

Pros:
- Good gunplay.
- Lots of upgrades.
- Lots of secrets to find.
- Good level design.
- Good visuals.
- Fantastic soundtrack.
- Great performance and no bugs.
- Decent enemy design.

Cons:
- Infuriating platforming sections, if you don't like platforming in games, DO NOT buy this game. If this garbage makes this way into the next Doom game, I am not buying it.
- You are forced into constant gore kills just to keep your health up.
- Convoluted upgrade system.
- Hardly any ammo, you need to constantly swap weapons.
- Combat feels worse than it did in Doom 2016.
- Heavy enemies are insanely bulletspongy unless you target their specific weak spots which you have to use specific weapons to do to effectively.
- Feels like the devs are railroading you into a specific playstyle.
- Bugthesda's garbage servers constantly interrupt your game with the game going offline.

This is a good but thoroughly flawed top down shooter.

Pros:
+ Good story.
+ Good voice acting.
+ Excellent combat.
+ Best world building I've seen in any Cyberpunk game.
+ Good visuals.
+ Great audio.
+ Lots of items and upgrades to min max your build.

Cons:
- Stuttering on a high end PC in some places.
- Bad navigation.
- Bad map.
- Lots of bugs.
- Fairly loose connection between item stats and their performance in the field.
