Pros :

* Contains new building pieces , traps and other stuff as advertised

Cons :

* What is there is really pathetic. Hardly anything is new. Most is just recycled stuff that has already been made available in mods. In fact mods have added more of the stuff that was ingame to begin with. It boggles the mind why they didn't include more stuff.

* The capturing of creatures is really lazily done. All you do is put down a powered cave Inside your settlement. After a while a creature spawn. No going out to capture them in the wasteland or anything. They just magically appear in your cage. There's no controlling them either beyond putting up a rod that keeps them docile.
Very dissappointing.

- Bonus nitpicking : On top of that we get absurdities that dilute the atmosphere like capturing for gunners and raiders with a cage marked 'free bullet's. Fun for a joke but it's really bizzare to capture human creatures like they're animals. Doubly so since your character in all quests in the base game only has the option to be a shiny paladin and now they're sending involuntary slaves into bloodsports for fun? Makes the lack of an evil or morally grey option in every quest even more keenly felt.

After the rather fun Automatron DLC that added a lot of new stuff this DLC has been really underwhelming.
Might be worth 1,99 euro but hardly 4,99.

tl;dr This is Fallout 4s Horse Armor DLC. And overpriced compared to that one too.

Good comment, its good to see "constructive" criticism, and your own opinions, its better than the BS comments like "nexus did it better", so good on you

You summarized how I felt on this dlc, yep, summarized, but the dlc ended up being the cherry on top, if not for modders this game would be the biggest dissapointment so far, it just lacks so much when compared to even fallout tactics, cool review.

"...your character in all quests in the base game only has the option to be a shiny paladin and now they're sending involuntary slaves into bloodsports for fun?"

Omg this

I'd pay almost anything for a new personality pack that lets you truly explore being evil and with lots of good voice acting to go with it. I was expecting that with launch but shit, I don't want to be a nice guy, but since they force us to be nice, this is just weird.

I've seen a team of five graphic artists and four programmers still in college put out more content than this from scratch in less than a month.

Bethesda have over 100 talented employees but clearly they didn't assign enough and we got a subpar product.

Adding simple objects like this carries small risks of bugs. The only requiring new scripts would be cages which is still very basic.

About half the stuff here is recycled or require minimum effort.

Heartfire added new mechanics. This does not unless you count a simple script to spawn an enemy new mechanics.

@Zatzany It might be lowered to 1,99 in time but I review what is in front of me. Not your pipe dreams and hopes for the future.

Secondly. "Capturing people for blood sports isn't really ruining the game, it's just a bizzare design choice when you're expected to act as morally grey at worst. "

Third.I don't think we know each other well enough for you to call me kiddo , so back off, chump.

@"People who complain about modders being able to do this": Modders cannot be relied on to keep your games stable, most mods have a carried risk of save corruption. DLC's do not have this. (P.S if you complain that a DLC corrupted your MODDED save, that is because of an inconsistancy between the Mod and the DLC which the Modder needs to address and Not Bethesda.)

@Nox, where Zalzany went wrong was that he lacked the knowledge of horse armour, it that ALL that horse armour did was make your horse look armoured. It served no purpose beyond that. However, this DLC actually influences the game other than being a Texture and Mesh overhaul for a tiny part of the game being marketed as something more.

I don't even know if this Zalzany guy is trolling (attempting to) or just so goddamn stupid. Where are all these infantile fools are coming from lately?
