Game is fun for about a week. Once you have your plot and cave and all that, there's no real reason to leave it. Then you just come online to farm your stuff, eat your vitamins, and might as well log off. There is hardly any PVP because anyone in red karma is visible on the minimap so you know where they are at all times and can avoid them. I just found myself spending hours.. Farm food, cook it, replant. Harvest flax, turn it into cloth, replant. Tan leather, dye leather, make another bag, put in chest. Feed animals.. Eat vitamins every 75 min, do 2-3 quick tasks to use vitamins.. Cool. No real reason to leave my 30x30 plot.

The production value is REALLY good. Especially for where it is in development. Everyone looks unique and a good variety in locations you play in.. You also get rep (levels) by just playing the game, not focusing on doing anything specific. I never thought I'd be addicted to playing poker that wasn't for real money but I am!

This is a very ambitious game and the downsides are not as bad as people are saying. Both siege (pvp) and survival are fun.

The game does need some MM though because it literally takes 10 people and puts them in a match. I guess at a low population it's too hard to do. But it's a free game so of course there's going to be a grind. There are several rewards and bonuses to help unlock other heros to use.. But it's pretty nieve for people to think they should play a f2p game and not be compelled to pay some money. I have 25 hours on the game so I throwing $20 at it for $1/hr of a game I enjoy is completly reasonable for me.
Grinding out the rewards for traps and minions and such isn't terrible and helps learn the game a little better once you start wanting to make better choices of what you spend your resources on.

It's really not a BAD game at all and they seem to be constantly working on it. I think a lot of people have posted reviews wanting a f2p game that came totally unlocked.. Or that was just as finished as OMD2. It'll get there. My biggest piece of advice is to not jump into pvp until at least lvl 10. You need some traits and skills unlocked before or you will get mega pwnt.

Although clearly not a perfect game, it certainly will meet your standards. I've been (actively) playing in the world for 48 hours before I finally went to Diamond City (at level 30). It really says something when you can roam a world and do side-quests that long before even heading to the first "main storyline quest".
Building- Pretty solid for sure.. But when you start having 20ish settlements it starts to be a chore. Sometimes I need to build things when I want to shoot things, however when I want to take a break from shooting things, I can build stuff. Some locations are really unique and quite interesting to fortify.
Factions- Some cool factions to help out. Lots of personalities to bounce off of.
Combat- Typical Fallout style. For the most part is spot on however sometimes I seem to have a clear shot at someone and my .50cal is stopped by a twig. On occasion there is just no bullet detection. I had a raider in cover and was confused why nothing was hitting him.. I thought I might be out of range until another raider came from even further away and I put him down.. No idea what was going on here. But I just relocated and finished it.. Not game breaking really.
My biggest complaint is a little lack of focus on Bethesda's part for random events and some quests in general.
To start, I did a lot of Brotherhood of Steel quests. I thought I was working towards a end, until I realized I was being sent to clear the same sites I already did.. Hmm.
Also some random events in Sanctuary Hills (the first town you can build, and my main hub). Someone may get kidnapped (which is cool because I was looking for my med supply vendor, and someone said there was a kidnapping, sure enough it was her. I could tell instantly because I make her work naked). However when finishing the quest, there is dialogue like "they decided to join the Minutemen"... Well they were minutemen from day 1. Really some continunity issues.
The voice acting is a little soft too. Lots of repeated lines, and a large lack of emotion. Granted getting into the main story, those cutscenes had a little more pop to them. The side stuff was what was lacking, and I guess they have to say the same thing 100 times, but why is there really only 1 line of dialogue written when you turn in a quest?
But I do love everything about the game other than those minor flaws. Feel free to ask me anything specific.

PROS:
I'll get to the technical side later. But for now, let me say this is the BEST game of the entire series, easily! Totally blown away. The main story is intense, creepy, entertaining, and most of all makes perfect sense. It felt like playing a movie, which is the type of single-player game I LOVE. The numerous side quests keep you engaged and the game does not allow you to just knock everything out at once so you are OP as the main story gets harder.
The openworld sandbox element is great! Like in GTA, I'll be going from point A to point B, and see a mob of thugs and just decide to drop down and kick some ass! But let me tell you, the game is NOT a cake walk at all. While you are powerful, you can't just try and do a mission without some planning. You absolutly have to hedge the odds to the best of your ability before engaging.
It took me about 6 weeks to finish because of the technical problems.. Lots of crashes.
So, the technical side.
Could hardly run the game at first. Lots of REDIST problems, crashes, etc.. Eventually got the game to run for 30-45 min clips. I have a 660 video card so def not the best. Had 16gb of ram, and I took 2 sticks out and never crashed after (my fault, not theirs). While I did have some episodes of severe frame drops (thank god the batmobile runs over 90% of anything), it wasn't game breaking. Everything still looked great and the cutscenes and drama were top notch.
While I understand people's frustration with paying $60 for a game that has problems, it is worth it once you get to play. The story, the gameplay, it's all there. They need to fix some issues and people might need to tweak their system. But I'll tell you what, this is one of the BEST games I have ever played and I'm 30+ and played everything under the sun.

♥♥♥♥:
I watched the final cutscene on youtube because you have to defeat the Riddler to see it.. How do you defeat the Riddler? Oh only go through his gauntlet of 8ish annoying quests, just to almost face him and then him say, "well do the rest of my nearly 300 puzzles hidden around the city to defeat me." You can suck it, buddy.

Probably the first game in at least a year that actually warrents a $60 price tag.
The game is COMPLETE. It has an entertaining story, with developed characters, and pretty decent amount of depth for the main story. There is emotions all over the place. Anger, humor, pity... It also progresses at a good pace. The challenges of starting, mid game, and end game are perfect. Harder zombies are introduced as you go along at just the right pace.
For the most part the controls feel pretty natural. However at times (when zombies lunge forward, or when you are dropping on them from above, or trying to exexcute a "finish") they can be a tad clunky, leaving you unsure when you were supposed to time the button press or where you were supposed to aim.. One time it may work, but not the next.
I'm not a big fan of climbing around. The early A.C. games were fun because it was innovative, but once it became manditory and forced, I didn't enjoy it anymore. This game has just the right amount of forcing you to climb and "platform" around. Enough variety that it is different, but not annoying. Also not annoying is the respawns. Once you go through an area, it is pretty safe. Although there is freeclimbing to pretty easily avoid the zeds, once you clear an area it is pretty safe for the remainder of the game. Some stragglers but you really feel like to accomplished something after a big fight.
The weapons have some variety, and you can build a bit towards how you'd like to play with your weapons. I find the elemental additions to be a little more desired. 90% of the fighting is vs zombies, so some elements are pointless, and when you kill them you have to wait for the element to run its course before looting the body, or you will take damage. After the 1000th zombie, that's annoying.
It has a bit of Farcry, mixed with a bit of Fallout, and Dead Island (from this studio).
I love the "Survivor Sense". It's a small area radar that shows you things to interact with. Really nice mechanic so you aren't running around trying to loot things you already looted, or trying to find the right spot to open the trunk. It's one of those elements that makes the game run more efficient. Not hold your hand, but cut down on time wasting.
Overall, I love the game. I honestly can't think of anything that I really DISLIKE about the game, but I do have some improvements that I'd like to see.
1) The main characters have very unique faces. However everyone else in the game is very generic. I've seen this one character's face about 10 times (he looks like my friend so I notice). Also the zed models are the same way. Maybe 5 unique models for the most common zeds, and then 1 model for each specialty zed. All in all you're killing less than 10 models of zombie the entire game.
2) Sometimes the zombies feel hard to distract. It's like only 10 can focus on something at a time, and the rest just stand there. When using a firecracker, I'd expect every zombie from sidewalk to sidewalk to come to it.
3) The "runner" zombies can get annoying. These are the ones that can climb and chase you, and come when there is a loud noise. I like them to keep you on your toes, but sometimes they just keep coming, one by one by one seemingly forever. I just fought a pack, and I want to grab the loot and move on, but the runners keep on coming.
4) I spent the last 8 hours doing side quests. Although I got some skills from levels, the money/weapons seems to just scale. So it's all relative. Theoretically you could beat the game with the same ease at lvl 5 as lvl 30. I guess the point is just seeing the content.
5) I wish it wasn't such a linear story. I had hoped there would be at least 1 decision to make that would make a difference. It also wouldn't hurt to maybe have some factions or relations of some sort. No decisions, no factions, and just freerunning around doing random stuff is not as fun as other "open world/sandbox" games.
6) Multiplayer... Coop is okay.. But the "hunter" thing, just a huge annoyance. My first night in the game, someone dropped in and we did the Vs. thing. He was actually a kind player and told me how to fight him. It was a decent fight, but I wanted to get back to my game. Before I could turn it off, ANOTHER player jumped in. Fought again. Then ANOTHER.. By that time I said screw it and just left the game. That's just insane.. The reward is minimal and the annoyance is through the roof.. Probably the only truely BAD thing I can say about the game.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that this game has the polish of a real quality 2nd game of a franchise. Most times I see the first installment of a series and the best I can say is "it has a bright future", but this game is great RIGHT NOW AS IS. The next installment can just expand on this game, not worry about going back and fixing things.

Évaluation de CS:GO
Sometimes I get really frustrated by this game and it's flaws. The Matchmaking seems broken at times, and the amount of trolling on so many teams is far too high. People intentionally lose games to lower their rank so that they can stomp people at a lower rank. Or there are so many smurfs (people who are a very high rank, with a 2nd account at a lower rank) that stomp.
But if you're a fan of CS, this is where you need to be playing it. It's much cleaner and prettier than anything before it. The basics still apply, and it is still very addicting. Rarely do you see any gameplay bugs. To be honest it's the players that ruin the game most of the time. But that happens everywhere.
Playing with friends can be a lot of fun if you try. Just try to not have a full team or else you'll go against another full team and chances are they play together full time. I've put a lot of hours into this game and I find myself going back every month or two and get addicted for some time. Love/hate relationship but I would have stopped playing all together if the hate was greater.

Bravo! Really great game. I'm a fan of those games that are just interactive movies. You get to make decisions, and have to react and think on your feet. You really feel like you are directing the action of the game and making important decisions. The characters are very well developed and you can't help but to have an interest in each one (even if the interest is hoping they die).
But a must have especially with Season 2 out. Start here so you can not only see the progression of the story, but the progression of Telltale and their game developing.
Sorry I honestly can't go into much more detail without spoiling some of the game. Ask me in private if you wish.

I'm a "fan" of fighting games. But I like to play against people. Usually friends. I bought this thinking I could go online and beat some people. But there is NO MULTIPLAYER. There "Is" it's just people don't use it, and if you have ANY lag, gg. Single player is AWESOME though. Just gonna make a list, keep in mind it's pro/♥♥♥ to ME and my likes/dislikes/style.
TL:DR=Buy it for the single player if you can get it on sale or have someone to play with (on the same machine).

Pros:
1) Graphics are tops.
2) Combos/moves are pretty fluid.
3) VERY VERY VERY good single player story. ~6hr long, but very good! The fighting scenes were put in the right places, and were necessary.
4) Voice acting also tops.
5) All of the Ultimate moves are "pretty decent" to "WOW THAT'S AWESOME!!!"
6) They didn't try to bog you down with super difficult fights. If you kept losing, the difficulty would get so easy the guy would just stand there and take the beating.
7) Challenges are fun. Reminds me a little of the extra game modes from the Batman: Arkham games. Entertaining but probably really appeals to the people with OCD and HAVE to complete it.

♥♥♥♥:
1) Input issues. With a controller you can only use a D-pad. So a keyboard might work fine? Not really. Sometimes my character would move as if one of WASD was held down. Had to his ESC, bring up steam overlay, hold down the opposite key of the movement, go back into the game, go to controller settings, and sometimes repeat it just to fix the problem.
2) I feel like the difficulty would shift. When I reached a level where the fights were challenging enough, it would get super hard the following fight, I dare say impossible. I would get juggled so hard I wouldn't hit the ground until I had 1/4 health. Felt like if the CPU wanted to beat you, it would just stomp you. Against a machine that just seems unfair.
3) While the ultimates are nice, they are 10-15 seconds long in some cases. There might be 3 per fight (2 for one person, 1 for the other). and then you fight that person twice, so that's a lot of time spent watching the same 2 ultimates 6 times in ~3 minutes.
4) Too many key combos. Some global things like level transitions, blocks/counters, etc should be universal. Once the game didn't have any multiplayer value, it was pointless to learn all the moves on the list.
5) Multiplayer is horrid. Nearly impossible to find a game, and if you have ANY lag at all, it's GG.

Still one of my fav zombie games. Just the right amount of "turn-the-corner-zombie-jump-at-you" scare that it doesn't get annoying. Mostly only have to travel somewhere once to fast-travel from now on, however sometimes the quests get annoying going back and forth to the same spots. It might be 2 min later but it's already fully respawned.
I had a lot of fun playing the story. Graphics are nice and the story is compelling. Some playable characters are a little more OP than others, but that depends on what playstyle you want.
I know it's an old game but worth a playthrough and I'm looking forward to the next one!
