The game on the 360 is a fantastic experience, this is no different. It's only made better by the fact that the PS3 content is included, which will easily give you a reason to do a third or fourth playthrough. With a decent port and after 10 years of waiting, I couldn't be happier that this got released.

The only thing I can fault is the voice mismatch for Yuri, it can be really weird hearing Troy speak one line only for Grant to speak the next. The difference is noticeable but ultimately doesn't ruin the experience.

Also, don't download the "Adventurer's Pack" on your first playthrough.

As a wise person once said "I say you will do well to buy this game I say!"

Voice acting is Jill Sandwich quality and the audio sounds like it was recorded with a calculator... ahhh just how I remember it <3

This game was ahead of its time, nowadays it wouldn't measure up to the average AAA title but it still manages to tell a compelling story with some downright fun gameplay.

And don't listen to the 60fps kids, 30fps is perfectly fine.

The story this game has is pretty interesting and Android 21 is a nicely developed character, however the way single player is executed is just a massive bore. You have three arcs and when you beat the first one you'll unlock the second one and so forth, however it's incredibly linear. You'll be fighting the same enemies (clones) over and over doing the same thing over and over with next to no variation. Then when you unlock the next arc you get to do the exact same thing over and over again, it'll get to the point where you skip nearly all the clones just so you can fight the stage's boss to progress.
A level system with traits that grant effects like increased exp gained or health regen is pretty nice, but the problem is you'll find a particular combination which just invalidates all the others. E.g I had health regen coupled with health being gained from every hit, all you need is those two (unless you want to trigger the character's phase event which is just a grind).
The gameplay itself is visually appealing, and landing your supers/ultimates is very satisfying but that's as far as it goes. The auto-combo system just ruins the gameplay and it's not because it's "cheap" or anything like that, it just limits you to what you can actually do. I find that I can't mix and match the way I want because the input are too close to the auto-combo inputs so a level 1 super just gets triggered randomly, in the end I managed to come up with my own combos by avoiding certain inputs which in a fighting game shouldn't even be a thing.
Then there's arcade mode which is just a missed opportunity, I would've loved to have seen character specific endings or post completion scenes, pretty much like how Ultimate Marvel v Capcom did it. Except you'll find yourself just grinding to unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, if you pre-ordered the game and got the two from the get go then there really isn't much point in playing it. Hardmode in arcade is just incredibly unbalanced, as you progress through the mode the AI will have increased damage, ki gain and reacts to pretty much anything and everything you do, if there's a single frame for them they'll do it. I did a basic 25 hit combo to the AI and it did just under 40% damage, then the AI hit me twice which dealt 30% damage. 6 hits and I was left with half my health left, so if you can't unlock them via the score you're just going to be grinding for the zene.
Online is just broken either that or Hit just keeps freezing time, if you're not getting disconnected then you're pretty much finding laggy games. And when you do find a game it's just some prick jumping up and down spamming the same move (but then that's not Arc's fault).

Wait until it comes down in price or until the issues get patched/fixed.

(Spoiler Free/Less angry Review)

I'm not really sure what to think about this game, but ultimately the negatives outweigh the positives so I have to select the "not recommend option".

The main issue I have with this game is that I feel Relic has taken it in the wrong direction in regards to game design and overall art, this may potentially be down to the audience or change of staff working on the game at the dev but it really shows its colours.
The argument that the game looks and plays like a MOBA is thrown around a lot and it's true to an extent, it plays like it because DOW3 doesn't play like something of the RTS genre. This really becomes noticeable as you progress with the game and learn the grips with base building and resource/army management. You're not really creating an army and defending a base whilst securing resources like you would in any other RTS game, you're creating a small squad of units to support your elite unit(s) to capture requisition points. There's no cover system like there was in DOW2 or anything complex or unique about the levels, there are set points that count as heavy cover (much like in DOW1) but that's it. This makes the units feel like they have no value, and that each loss puts the player in danger but that's not the case.
The AI never attacks unless it's scripted meaning you don't have to worry about defending your base, this is actually quite a flaw because that takes away part of the challenge and removes a lot of tactics from the player. For example the location where you decide to build your base might have a decent chokepoint or very few ways the enemy can enter from, that's now irrelevant as if the enemy doesn't attack what's the point in choosing a strategic location for your base? To give you a rough idea on how bad this is, I've got the game minimised as I'm typing this review and I've managed to stack up 10k requisition and 1k power (starting from nothing) without being attacked.
The campaign itself is very linear and is essentially won by a war of attrition, you're unlocking segments of the area as you progress by sending a small force ahead and if they get annihilated you can just request more. Eventually you'll win because there's no threat to your base, so you can just keep recruiting more units until the enemy that looked at you funny is defeated.
The art and overall aesthetics of the game is very offputting and just doesn't suit the 40k lore, which is weird because the soundtrack and the cinematics represent the lore quite nicely. The Warhammer universe is grim and dark with death around every corner, however the environment presented to the player in game is colourful and flashy and just doesn't set the atmosphere it should.
The units themselves are very flexible which is my main gripe, the best example is Gabriel Angelos. I love flashy and stylish attacks/animations in RPGs because that's what the world in that instance allows, otherwise that kind of thing would be the norm and ultimately possible. Seeing Gabriel Angelos doing flips and somersaults in terminator armour doesn't look as cool when that's impossible to do with the 40k lore, but then this is a case with lots of units. I've seen instances where Dreadnoughts would out of no where get this quick burst of speed and charge into combat, which is weird because that's a massive hulking mech. Even when the Devastator Marines shoot their heavy bolters the recoil animations just look cartoony, which makes the unit in general look and feel very weak. In DOW2 the units and vehicles looked and felt like they had weight and were real, from slow turning turrets/units to armour looking, sounding, and feeling heavy as they destroyed cover/debris truly showed the game's realism. To go from that depth to... what DOW3 gives us is very disappointing.

Basically Relic made the same mistake as they did with COH2, for whatever reason they decided to oversimplify a game that didn't need it, and the result is that we've got a product that's not fun and is only a mere shadow of its former self. What Relic needs to do is keep the RTS elements that everyone loved in DOW1, and have a hero/elite progression system that DOW2 introduced along with the various strategic elements that COH1 introduced (cover system for example). That would be a game that'll make me nut to oblivion.

In the first two hours this game accomplishes what Final Fantasy 15 failed to do throughout the entirety of its gameplay, Berseria immediately introduces a coherent story with likeable (and relateable) characters that continue to develop with each twist and conflict that occurs. The gameplay despite being standard tales is downright fun, fluid and feels unrestricting to the player allowing them to develop their own strategies and combos.

If you were put off by weaker tales games such as Zesteria, this game will more than make up for it. If you liked the weaker titles, this game will blow you away.
