Negative Review — Even 5€ Felt Too Much (DLC Refunded)

Was hopeful given the Expanse name, but this is a letdown on all fronts.

Pros:

Good visuals and animations.

Some polish in environments and facial design.

Cons:

Weak story with no tension or emotional weight.

No main characters from the show — no Holden, no Amos, no Belters you cared about.

The soul of The Expanse is missing — replaced with shallow narrative choices and disconnected writing.

Drenched in modern-day identity politics and LGBT propaganda that feels forced and inorganic.

If you loved the show, this will probably feel like a disgrace to its legacy.

Telltale used to make you care about characters. Here? I couldn’t care less what happened.
Refunded the DLC, finished the base game just because of achievements.

They went from being memed into oblivion to delivering one of the most complete space survival games out there.

It’s not the game we were promised in 2016.

Had to use mods to fix the damn game in 2025, but once it worked... the gameplay was still there. Still gritty. Still Max.

I played this back when it first came out, and replaying it now was a brutal reminder of a different Rockstar era — when games weren’t afraid to be hard, and your feelings weren’t on the priority list.

This was Dan Houser writing at full power.
Every line of dialogue was alcohol-soaked philosophy wrapped in bullet casings. Max wasn’t a superhero — he was a broken man with a gun and nothing to lose. And the game made you feel it.

It was also the last true OG Rockstar game, before the emotional safety belts came on and the edge got sanded down for wider appeal.

Max Payne 3 wasn’t perfect. But it was raw, relentless, and real. You felt every punch. Every shot. Every regret. And that’s rare today.

🖤 Aragami 2 – A Farewell to Stealth & Shadows 🖤

This game wasn’t just a stealth action title. It was a love letter to Tenchu, and the last one we’ll ever get. Aragami 2 captured everything I miss: the thrill of silently stalking through shadows, the joy of cooperative play, and that tactical satisfaction of executing the perfect stealth kill.

While it may not have revolutionized the genre, it delivered a classic formula that is sorely missing today. And the fact that it was co-op made it even better. Playing with a friend turned it into an experience — one that brought us closer to that Tenchu magic.

But then the studio closed, and with it, a piece of gaming history. No more sequels, no more updates, just a beautiful game that was too good for its own good.
I will never get another chance to play something like this again, and that’s what hurts the most.

This isn’t just a game — it’s a fever dream wrapped in rust, stitched together by headlights and hope.

You, a beat-up station wagon, and an apocalyptic science experiment gone wrong. That’s it. No guns, no cheap jump scares. Just you versus a reality that forgot how physics work. And somehow… it’s perfect.

The driving? Janky, but in that charming “she’s my baby” kind of way.
The atmosphere? Like Firewatch met STALKER at a neon junkyard.
The immersion? Off the charts. Every supply run feels like a ritual. Every escape feels earned.

This game doesn’t care about trends. It made its own genre, parked it in the rain, and dared lightning to strike. And it did.

One of the most unique survival-exploration games I’ve ever played. The sound design, the visuals, the vibe — they linger. Even after 49 hours, I still hear the radio static whispering: “Just one more run…”

🚗💨 Worth every cent, every breakdown, every storm.

Simple game, deep meaning.
For 1€ got great value from it.

This game is a pure classic and it takes some research to play it.

In 2025 the best thing you can do is play 15 year old games.

Insane dificulty is LITERALY INSANE.

at least 2 players to complete it.
be very patient and avoid unlimited alien spawns.
Use gunner, tecnitian and lance. other classes works too.
The final tip, if you atempt insane dificulty is GODSPEED.

Best GTA ever.
Those physics were really ahead of its time.

Only downside is the lack of pc multiplayer, because of Rockstar sloppy and lack of work. :(
