It's ok... not amazing people try to make you believe but it's ok...

Can def. feel the game engine is starting to be aged, let's just hope tes 6 if they ever make one will have learned from all these mistakes.

Enthralling characters and story telling.
Even though the gameplay is short it is still worth every cent.
The decisions you make matter just as much as they did in the main game and bossfights felt like they were done much better this time around.

It's pretty bad

It's pretty good

Well after a metric ton of crashes I'm still convinced this is a great game, rockstar did a good job optimizing it, I can get 100+ fps on a gtx 970 at like high settings, so that's great.

However I was flooded with display driver crashes all the way up to my PC completely locking up forcing it to restart, no crashdump nothing it just locks up.

What I did to *hopefully* get a stable experience
- I did a full clean of my display drivers with display driver uninstaller while in safe mode.
- Reinstalled the gta V ready drivers
- Display driver crashes occured every few minutes while in borderless fullscreen on 144hz. So I went fullscreen and used vsync to lock fps to 144.
- Also did a complete reinstall of GTAV

These steps had me playing this afternoon for 3-4 hours did 2 heists completely and didn't have a single hickup in frames, not a sngle freeze or displaydriver crash after doing these steps. I recommend everyone doing the same until rockstar finds a fix for these issues.

Crashes occur on (my specs):
i7 2600K 8GB RAM GTX 970.

Having played over 400 hours of this game I can safely say you can avoid getting into it now. I'll admit the game was great fun at first until Overkill got some of that EA magic rubbed off on them and now after building a huge community all they see is dollar signs.

You could buy this game cheap now yes on a sale, just don't get addicted to it because you'll feel you need all the DLC which is a huge mistake. All Overkill is doing right now with this franchise is grabbing the community by the tit and milking out every dollar they can.
Also the heists have very little replayability unless you like mindless grinding and literally doing the same thing over and over again.

It was nice at first but now they just pushed it to far and are choking their own game giving it a slow painful death.
But I doubt they care ... because you know guys money amirite? EVERYONE LIKES MONEY.
ITS IRONIC BECAUSE THIS GAME IS ABOUT STEALING MONEY AND THAT'S ALL THIS COMPANY IS DOING TO THE COMMUNITY HAHA.

You can tell they worked their ass off on this port, if you can even call it a port. This might've easily been made with pc in mind, solid 60 fps maxed out with no framedrops ever at all at 1080p and it looks absolutely stunning at the same time. Can't wait to play as big boss in the phantom pain next year. Good to see the MGS series is coming to pc! One negative I've found is that it seems to be locked at 60 fps even with vsync disabled, it would've been nice to benefit from 144hz but it plays smooth nonetheless.
