The embalming process was about as fleshed out as a morose Nintendo DS tech demo. The emails are reasonably engaging but are about 80% of the game and story.

This game is super buggy. A vehicle in the first mission won't work if vsync is off, and this game will very likely crash if you alt tab away. Aside from that this is a weaker LEGO game and is still in the silent mini fig era of these games

The upscale from the remaster looks good on higher end monitors. There are bugs where dialog will cut out quite early and the custom map marker would be activated on each new map I entered.

As for the gameplay, it's a shooter with RPG leveling, much more fun with friends than alone. The sotry is pretty thin and the characterization is minimal compared to the sequels. The DLC that's included is a bit more engaging than the main story.

I'm pretty ambivalent.

The best in the series so far. The world feels pretty empty after beating the main quest though.
