The wait times to play each week have become more agonizing; and that's a sign of how the game has withered away over the years. What even happened to this game

Returning player from all the way back in like 2021/2022 or whenever beta was happening and they were doing all those promos with creators like alpharad and such I just assumed the game was doing fine with its own community since I kept seeing the updates show up on the steam home page, but finally checking in now why is the game DEAD...

The game was fun back in its hayday but incredibly brutal to play if you aren't running the meta characters.

Nowadays it's not only abandoned, but brutally unforgiving and filled with nothing but egotistical purists. It takes longer for you to find an actual match then to play one, and even if you do manage to find a match you probably won't end up finishing it properly, because your teammates will bail out of the match as soon as it becomes obvious the other team is going to end up winning. Whoever you run into is either an egotistical purist demanding you to play perfectly from the getgo, or an absolute bully who will prioritize molesting you on the field rather then playing the game.

Save yourself the stress and abandon this game...
