A hidden gem amongst the trash.

Amazing graphics, and interesting gameplay. The semi-open world serves this game very well. I get a feeling that this was meant to be played as co-op, as it is really hard in single player. Luckily death doesn't really punish, because you are going to die. Not really worth the original price, but get it on sale.

I have seen reviews saying DLC's are too short. I did a test, and played all the DLC's before touching the main storyline. After finishing them, I had over 40 hours played. If that isn't enough for you, I don't know what is.

The good:
-It's Borderlands
-Guns
-DLC's are amazing, some of the best gaming content I have ever played
-Did I mention it's Borderlands?

The bad:
-This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensive, especially if you want all the DLC (and trust me, you do)
-Main storyline doesn't really live up to expectations
-Some really annoying bugs (game doesn't start up on first try, fast travelling to vehicle is broken)

If you are only thinking of buying the main game: don't buy.
If you are getting the whole set, prepare for one of the best gaming experience you will ever have.

♥♥♥♥ epic

I really do like this game.

It's a pretty solid RPG with a LOT of platforming. Combat flows nicely once you get the hang of it, characters are interesting and the story doesn't take itself too seriously. I would say this is a must-have for RPG lovers, BUT:

The platforming. Every time your character jumps, it loses all the momentum and this makes the character feel extremely sluggish. It also makes some easy platforming very, very hard.

The price. I got this from Humble Choice, and I'm very satisfied. But 40€? That's way too much. Although the story is great, it's still just another "♥♥♥♥ goes down, go save the world" kind of RPG. 15-20€ would be an acceptable price for this game.

TL;DR: wait for sales, then buy and enjoy your time.
