Another good game! Music, design, art style, feel like Slay The Spire hype all over again!!
If you like Slay the Spire, this game is a must play for you!!

This game is huge potential, look at the animation, colours, design, everything is on point, you can feel the weight of battle and every animation.
Of course if you compare this game to castle vania or Hollow knight, this game really lack of variety and build, basically its very straight forward, slash parry and dodge, there are nothing much more than that.
And map is pretty much everywhere is the same, enemies type in fact not that much as well, basically its not like other similar game that has different colours or scenary.
People might think its kinda boring, but consider this is small studio and first game, I would like everyone to try this game, dont try to compare it to other big metromania game, it has its unique charm.
I really love this game art style and colours, i wish this studio can keep growing.

Cool game, but poor execution.
A beat'em up game with enemies using high damage gun, too much instant kill traps is big no no.
The car racing and instant kill car crash and a car with machine gun shooting at you, that stage make me feel like this game has too many cheap mechanisms and game design.
A huge design flaw it enemies have balance bar that prevent you to grab them or do finisher on them, after you break their balance bar then you are basically just kill them with few hits, it means all those grab are pretty much useless. While enemies have balance bar, even enemies without balance bar are able to block your attack, I mean..What? Grab should be able to bypass their balance bar and block in beat'em up game.
And even you are able to grab or do finisher, but there are no invincible time at all, and you get kill easily while you are doing those things, which mean in conclusion - this game just only hit and smash because a lot of things are pretty useless.
Anyway, what a disappointment, a lot of game developer want to do beat'em up game but yet never really know what is beatt'em up game,

This game is difficult, way difficult than other beat'em up game, not because its hard for good reason, but hard for all no good reason.
I had been mention few times before this games released, stiff animation, janky combo, and now this game don't seem to have any improvement as before.
How can a beat'em up game, restrict your attack time? After normal combo, wait 1 sec then only able to attack again, fall down, wait 1 sec, press jump, need 0.5 sec to jump, after jump attack, need to wait 1 sec to attack again, so basically juggle is non-existence, end up this game became very simple - combo, special, combo, special, there are no any kind of juggle you can do at all.
Everything seem floating, without gravity and the physics is all wrong, how enemies been throw, how they jump, all those animations are feel like student made, totally not professional (i have artist/animation background), it just feel like beat'em up game 20 years ago - even those games have better animation physics. And running is way too fast and floating, hard to control, i did mention that and apparently they never change it as well.
Talk about all those elements and boss, it seem this game need you to wait a lot, you cant keep attack them continuously, has to wait, defense, the flow of the beat'em up shouldn't for people to "wait", like stop, attack, stop, it totally kill joy, what is beat'em up game? It should be non-stop tension, it shouldn't be slow pace.
Again, this game is hard, not because of this game is hard but because of the animation and the control, stiff and unresponsive.
It such a waste that this hand-drawn beautiful game, end up became like this, such a waste. Although i saw many good reviews and high remarks of this game everywhere, but i dont see much people actually buy or talk about this game (you can see forum, not many new post), i guess all those good reviews are just absurd and misleading.

I always love Lovecraft elements games, because the Lovecraft means makes everyone pressure - characters in game and player.
But this game is..... all L can say is Lazy, very very very lazy. Everything just very basic, all the building and in game map are reuse again and again. Unimaginative monster and enemies, unimaginative combat system and unimaginative characters.
Basically everything just very basic, I can say this game is like high school student works. No characters progressing, no depth combat, everything just simple and straight forward.
I'm really disappointed to this game, seriously, cant they just put more effort to create slightly better game?

Sorry to say, please wait for sales for this game.
Just finished this game last night, this game starting is good, everything so detailed, but after half way, there are nothing new, which make me a bit bored, it's became like a chore.

Good thing:
1. Everything is very details and beautiful, you can slow walk and enjoy the scenary. Everything is like an art, colors, design.
2. Split screen is a interesting concept, thanks to my high end PC I can run the whole game with high FPS so overall it's a good experience.
3. Voice acting, while most of it is good, i think it's just hit and miss, I mean, while voice acting is good, but so lack of information and details story given. I wish she can say more when exploring.

Bad thing:
1. Too bright, everything is beautiful but not creepy kind of beautiful, not really dark you can see everything, which lost the atmostphere, since most horror games is dark so give you a lot more imagination.
2. Lousy puzzle, seriously those puzzle is like child play, the echo, the shadow, there are really not much elements. Solved the puzzle then you'll forget it.|
3. Story, oh story, unfinished story, what are they thinking? Especially at the end, gosh, i basically can guess the story halfway through, there are nothing special, not say its bad written story, just not remarkable.
4. Action part - beside some puzzle, there are some..."action", but meh, those action just hit and miss, not tension enough, it just like "give you something to do" that's all. I just feel it wasted since you have spirit power and some sort, which dont feel much impact on action or puzzle.
5. Boss, what boss, you see those giant evil spirit, a cutscene, and that's it, nothing more, i like... what?? You spend so much time in their world but at the end No boss fight? Or at least fight the boss with some puzzle elements, but noooooo, just only she use her hand to flash a light, and then that's it, no tension, and you dont even remember those evil spirit after that, such a waste, it feel like this game trying to cut cost or something.

I really hope they just put less effort on making the game look beautiful and more concentrate on the gameplay, too little puzzle too little action, yeah, i know they want to present the story, but the story just unfinished and half-cooked. The fact they are trying to get elements from silent hill, alan wake or other horror games, but not really do it well. Silent Hill can do action, puzzle and storyline very well, which I think this game in fact, very conservative, not dare to do full action or full puzle, overall the biggest selling point of this game only 2 worlds together, which I think they wasted the potencial, of the 2 worlds, it can be interesting that if it can keep you busy on looking left and right, like something is happening at the same time in both world, but no, since they dont go all action, and the 2 world puzzle also too simple that you basically dont really care about it much.

I know this is their first time to do game like this, i mean split screen, they have ambitions, but with conservative execution, beside the beautiful scenery and story, everything else just meh, nothing remarkable.
No matter how, at the end you must care about gameplay system, there are no such thing that a game only able to focus on story and ignore everything else.

This game only worth for big sales

Silent Hill + Last of US + RE, everything is in balance, game play, story, this is better than the 1st one, BUY IT!

Spent almost 16 hours to finished this game, really a great games! Yeah, its totally like Legend Of Grimrock mechanism, but in a good way. 1 person, sci-fi, and gadgets.
Gadgets design is good, all gadgets also have different unique function, all enemies have different moves and you have to fight them with care.
I really hope more this kind of game, good jobs!
