Not my bag, as the kids say. It's a totally fine game, but it's hard to recommend a 5/10 game when there are countless 8-9/10s. Just... average. (imo)

What I like
+ FUN Combat with well animated finishers 
+ LOTS of cosmetics
+ The in-game music
+ LOTS of Easter eggs and refrences
+ The variety of the environments on each level

Mixed feelings
+/- The Story
+/- Some sections from the game trailers just don't exist in the game. 

What I hate
- SLOW early game progression (You need to unlock at least 7 or 8 abilities before the combat starts being fun.)
- Some annoying level sections (Fight Club Bikers and Scorpion Queen Bossfight as examples)
- Weird game mechanic like the revolver secondary, it's strong yet clunky to use sometimes.
Changing to any ammotype while there is still a bullet in the chamber will put the gun on cooldown. WHY ?

Wide variety of gadgets allow for interesting scenarios. Level are short but a bit repetetiv in the middle of the game. Combat has nice animations but some combos are a bit hard to pull of. Wouldn't directly compare it to Hotline Miami as the combat flow is different, slower and less stratetic i would say. Over all a solid fun game i can recommend. :)



Be honest. You liked The Raid and John Wick a bit too much, here's a game for you.
