Finished on specialist around the 9 hour mark. All achievements and had a bunch of skill points left i couldn't spend since i got all skills already.

The game itself is okay. Nothing exceptional nor bad. It was worth the few bucks i paid for it but it doesn't seem to offer any replay-value nor any alternative routes. It's mostly liniear and story driven, combat is okay.

If you want to enjoy a few hours of story, get it.

Ultrawide users: Beware, it doesn't play well on 32:9. Cutscenes will be centered and small but watchable. After a cutscene you will have super low fov. You can use Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker to inject the dll and just type into the console "fov x" for your desired fov.

It's a souls like with guns, melee and magic. It has a ton of replayability and is fun, especially in coop. GO play it!

Game is VERY barebones. Movement is clunky as hell. Aiming and overall camera-handling is super janky. Since it's a third person shooter you have two options while aiming. Aim down sights or use some kind of over the shoulder, slightly zoomed aiming moved with the strangest crosshair i have ever encountered.

Sadly, aiming both down sights or your third person view is clunky as hell as it's not properly aligned. If you crouch, your gun clips upwards and you basically have too shoot lower to hit anything. There's one tankier character which is at the same time a bit bigger. Playing with him makes this even worse as he's constantly clipping into your sights, especially if you try to navigate in more confined spaces.

All these issues aren't THAT BAD and will PROBABLY be sorted out but the biggest issues i currently have with this game which leads to a no-recommendation is PERFORMANCE and CHAOTIC SPAWNS.

I have a fairly decent rig here with a 5900X, 6800XT, 32gb RAM and a bunch of NVMEssds. Yet i have to play this game on the lowest graphics settings and on 1920x1080 to get somewhat stable fps between 60-80. The game still manages to drop below 60 fps, depending on where you are in the map and what's going on while at the same time, enemies in the distance seem to be animated with 5 fps...

Add enemies spawning on top of you to that equation and things get messy.

IF you really want to play this game, sure, go on and do it, it might even become good one day, just not today. Coop is a hit and miss as you might probably get it to work with friends but randoms is a completely different story. Out of all the lobbies i tried, only two worked so far, one went on for one round and the other one, the host was afk...

No ultrawide support. Forces 16:9 with black bars supposedly for "fairness factors". Has stereo audio only, no matter if headset or speakers.

It's Warhammer 40k, it's about Space Marines and it is GOOD.

It supports the dual sense if you want haptic triggers and stuff (although the speaker on the gamepad didn't work for me) but sadly there is no gyro implementation in the game currently. Only option here would be to map it yourself via steam input, joyshockmapper or rewasd. What this does to easy anti cheat? I don't know.

If this doesn't bother you. Go on and chop up some tyranids.

Update:

There are a few issues relating to super ultra wide resolutions like 5120x1440 (32:9). They added support for 21:9 but left 32:9 out. 32:9 is zoomed in and cropped. My suggestion would be to just create a custom resolution for 21:9 and use that instead of a broke 32:9 resolution, if you happen to have such a display.

If you own a GPU that is Virtual Link capable, you don't need Sonys PSVR2 PC adapter. Bluetooth is needed for the PSVR2 Sense Controllers.

Everything is fine so far but there seems to be an issue with AMD cards not being able to change from 120 to 90 Hz.

If you want near native resolution per eye, go for 2800x2856 in SteamVR settings. (Barrel distortion playing a role here)
