Can't figure out how to play, all servers show as empty but selecting any of them gives an error "Server is full please select a different one".

Its hard not to be bored with the lack of depth to any of the games systems or environments. The game has good scale for a space game but none of the rpg elements that make you want to do anything or go anywhere. Maybe modders can add some real content but until then its shelfed.

Pretty excellent RPG. Not finished yet but totally worth the 30$, hope they make a sequel.

Great game that captures the magic and horror of being trapped in a hostile place full of face-eaters. Doesnt feel like early access and controls feel smooth. You are rewarded for using strategy rather than going rambo or trying to outrun everything but death is certain. Good luck trying to last 2 weeks until you get a solid idea of where to get supplied and how to avoid combat as much as possible.

This game still has some good facets, the environments, towns, and crafting are still enjoyable. However, there has been as steady drop in quality from the December/January/February patches that have significantly worsened the game. New bugs being introduced and each time the devs claim to fix things they either only partially fix it, break it even worse, or introduce a slew of related bugs.

I cannot recommend playing this game in its current state due to the current combat experience which has been severely broken since the last Feb patch, desync is constant, weapon swapping is prone to make your character wig out instead of actually act, basically everything that used to be good has been broken. There isn't very much hope left that they can pull a miracle and stop breaking things, or start actually improving them, its a long way to go just to reach the quality the game had when it originally launched in Oct...

Game as seriously improved since the release drama. I had played, refunded, and written it off back in 2016 but saw it keep popping up recently with the likes of Elite & FTL. Definitely hooked right from the get go, base building & crafting are pretty addictive and you could spend days just gathering and planning minecraft style.

The graphics & world are extremely good, seen hundreds of planets, space stations, critters and never the same thing twice. Probably the weakest point is the missions which are tedious and more of a A-to-B flying simulator than anything with real investment in it but I've seen hints from the main story that could be interesting. The (now actually implemented) multiplayer is pretty cool too with some limited time missions randoms can join, base sharing, and cosmetic items you can go for if you want.

Recommend anyone interested in open world games give this 2021 version a try, especially if you can get into free roam types like Elite / Evocron / SPAZ / Space Engineers

Metroid meets Destroy All Humans, would buy again

Great game, especially for early access. Gameplay feels like a combination of LFD2 + CS:GO. Working as a group is vital to take down tougher waves, and you can be killed pretty quickly for running off solo. Servers are really active, so finding a group is usually instant, and most PUGs know to stick together and not just run off to die in a corner.

Looking forward to updates, and not sucking enough to do Hard Mode regularly.

Atmospheric and well-written. Contains about 20 hours of intricate crime mysteries strung through the story arc of a group of marines returning from WW2. If you like Noir films, murder mysteries, or cop drama you can't possibly pass up this game.

10/10, I regret not playing it sooner.
